There are Champions League winners in Kingsley Coman and Patrice Evra, up and coming forwards like Moussa Diaby and Xavi Simons, while we’ve also got room for ex-Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi, and Christopher Nkunku set to join Chelsea this summer in a bumper deal from RB Leipzig. To have a monopoly on the gold mine that is Paris youth players and to waste spending hundreds of millions to look better instead of being better says a lot.
If you had a team build up of ONLY players born in Paris, you're going to get them into thr Champions League Semi-Finals, minimum, even if you don't even think about tactics. It's such a massive Waste

this starting XI probably wins Ligue 1 quite comfortably and they'd have saved like 1 billion euros and had probably the same success in the UCL lol

Honestly this list makes more sense backwards. Coman is the only player listed that has come back block PSG'S chances to progress or win the Champions League.
Everyone else is speculative of a future that has yet to be seen

Maignan?
Small correction, PSG's buyback clause on Simons can only be activated if Simons himself agrees to move back to Paris.
So right now PSG could have: Maignan, Hakimi, Marquinhos, Nianzou (rather play him over Ramos & Kimpembe, but maybe they should’ve bought another elite cb), Nuno Mendes, Verratti, Rabiot, Guendouzi ? The midfield has always been subpar, Nkunku, Mbappe, Diaby. A much more functional and hard-working frontline. They’d have made the fans happier with this team, this team could also be strong contenders for the UCL with a better midfield and an elite cb next to marquinhos.
If PSG actually valued and built their team on these players they would actually have alot of respect

1. PSG didnt let Coman go he refused to sign a new deal.
2. Back then literally everyone said Areola was better and had far more potential than Maignan, not a mistake. Just life. No regrets

So theres only 7 players on that list that PSG let go of willingly and out of those 7 we only regret 1 or 2

Guendozi is laughable. That will never be a regret. Moussa Diaby is DEFINITELY a regret. He was the only academy grad recently to play major mins and we sold him 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ first player PSG sold in the Qatari era that was showing real promise. Nkunku is a weird one. When he played for us he wasn’t anything special (unlike diaby) but the talent was there. He went to Leipzig and became a $100+ player. No one saw that coming. Xavi Simons at number 1 over Nkunku, Maignon and Diaby is bold especially since we have a buy back clause for Xavi and he hasn’t been that amazing for PSV. This is a good list. Definitely could be better though.

if these players stayed in qatar saint germain they would have been awful! look at the young players they have in their team all the time, they are trash and they only develop well when they leave
