@@flexyy4069 BIOS is only sometimes, he did what is needed, BIOS depends if you need it or you dont, I never done BIOS and here I am
Apart from all the rest of it. For starters UEFI or Legacy bios settings and what build version it is. That can have an effect. Then you have to deal with drivers!!! Device manager, Disk management??? But as far as the heading goes it should get windows on your pc

@@exoticc-lp1sp Not that I have tried. Though a friend of mine helped me activate windows (all it really does is removes watermark) somehow, but I don't recollect which way it was done...

@@PureAwareness76 it should be, laptops and desktops use the same OS versions so a windows key should work on a laptop.
Windows 11 can't handle Adobe produtcts... Crash and freeze. With Windows 10, Adobe runs like a dream!

How did the installation go? I'm about to try this tomorrow on my new PC.
@@D3C0Y it went exactly the way as in this video. But i had already the booter-USB plugged in and i did not had to go to BIOS and us any boot menu and it automatically started installing windows. Though be careful cuz the download will take time (not sure if it depends on your network speed or Microsoft just limits the speed for that) and in my case i had to redownload the thing cuz there was an error near the end. It can be annoying when you download the thing and at the end it says "LOL nope, do it again".

@@dallascharles3692 It depends what motherboard you're running and what the BIOS configuration is. The bootable media might still be corrupted as the above comment states, so I recommend formatting the drive before you install Windows 10 on it. Usually the installation of the Windows 10 installer will do that for you but I've had times where it doesn't. Good luck mate.
one thing i feel you should have mentioned is you should have gone over how to reactivate and alocate the remaining storage devices since you expressly recommended to disconnect the ones that wont be used as OS install, newcomers might be left with a "well now what" and simply unused extra storage

@@myst278 When you install a new drive, ssd or hdd, you will have to set it up in windows to be able to use it. Basically. This especially might happen if you install windows with disconnected drives because windows wont search and automatically allocate the storage that is not connected.

I am fitting an M.2 hard drive but also I will be moving across my HD drive and my Solid state drive. My solid state drive already has windows 10 on it from my old computer and some work and gaming stuff. is there a way I can remove windows off my old drive and just keep my work and game stuff on there or do I need to copy that to a usb stick, wipe the drive and put it back on ? any help or a video would be massively helpful. again keep up the great work.... !!! ;-)

for anyone who accidentally installed the wrong version of Windows, don't worry. Nothing on Windows will let you fully reset to the point where you can redo that, but your bios should let you completely wipe and re-partition your hard drive. It's probably different depending on the bios, but it works so don't worry you're not doomed

This video is a great guide. I would say to DEFINITELY spend the money to get a real version of windows/ activation key. I bought one off of a site like this about 2 years ago and it worked until 5 months ago where I started having bugs and windows would no longer allow me to update. This was because Microsoft realized it was a false windows key and locked me out. I now have to buy a new version and reinstall a ton. Its not worth the hassle. Please just buy genuine windows. YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

Hi! I have a question! So in the first part of the video he showed people how to instal windows for free using usb stick, will you still have to do that and still buy the real version of windows, or can you just power on your pc and but the real version of windows without a usb stick?

Hi, not with RAM, Hard Drive, or GPU upgrades (although your gpu will require new drivers). Not 100% sure about CPU; have heard that motherboard needs it. I would create the tool just in case (edited for clarity).

@@IMZO_ if you have a wifi adapter or if your motherboard already has wifi then installing windows is sufficient. Your adapter will use windows' drivers.

Oh my god thank you!!! I had an m.2 and a traditional ssd and I was getting stuck in the boot menu. Unplugged the larger ssd and it worked immediately.
@@awoken5399 if you remove the ssd you will only see the m.2 in the boot menu

When your downloading windows on your other pc/laptop, will it work if it’s made by apple? (So does it have to be a windows pc/laptop) or can it be apple
Apple devices like:MacBooks or IMacs are already installed with a Apple os/macOS. So you don’t need to install windows 10 on the device. You still can try installing it via the boot camp assistant:

I think it should work on an apple device just click the like he has in the comments and you should find out pretty fast otherwise
you need windows. you cannot install windows from the media tool on a mac. it doesnt install. you should try the trial version of parallels. and use the arm windows bc its not out yet. its free and will get the job done. that way you get windows on your mac to install the drive and put it in your pc
When I go to the website there are no windows activation keys all are just games or something and when I search it doesn't come up could this be cause I'm checking this on mobile?

I have windows installed on a Samsung 120GB SATA SSD that has been full for a few years. For my second build, I was thinking of copying this to a 1TB NVME SSD rather than buying windows again. I remember buying it years ago as a windows 8 key as this was cheaper at the time than Windows 8.1. Now obviously my PC is running Windows 10 these days. Question - Will my key will still be valid for my build when I start it in a few months? I threw away the key years ago because I had redeemed it and didn't think I would need it again.

It will come up after a while, belive me its true, i did recently a new build and didnt get the watermark, 2 days after i saw that it popped up

For the people whos usb isnt booting by default
Go to the bios
To go to the bios press delete f11 f12 or esc keys like that while it boots up
After you enter the bios
Go to boot options
With your keyboard arrow keys
And select boot priority 1
You wil have some drives in which windows can boot from
Select the name of the flash drive
And navigate to save and exit
Then press enter 2 times
