I’m a truck driver, I want to get one of these so that when I’m parked somewhere I can just use the scooter to get food or go to the gym or visit someplace nearby and not have to bobtail or Uber. I met another driver that does this and he is saving a lot of money, and having fun at the same time!
Easy to understand, concise right to the point :) Thanks!
nice video buddy, good editing job
It is always great to see Rk9 Rides content. This is one of the most valuabe electric scooter channels on CZcams.
thank you for the information ! really helpful video ! iam on the search of my first electric scooter , the video is really helpful
Thank you for constantly taking one for the team over and over so we don’t have to
I bought the ESKUTE ES MAX off of Amazon about a year ago and within a few months the battery degraded significantly and they sent me a replacement battery pretty quick free of charge! The new battery was significantly better and to this day still runs as good as when I installed it. It was pretty apparent that its build quality wasn’t the greatest (the handlebars are a bit wobbly, tires are pretty bare and didn’t last long) but also wasn’t a bad first scooter! Im a big guy (6’2 230 lbs) and it handled my weight and size well. I’m not a speed demon and generally just want a good commuter. Recently bought the Turboant V8 and currently waiting for it to ship!
Great video. Very informative and concise.
I have a Qiewa and Its a Beast! Run 75mph easily!!!! and Is NOT a Junk like the description of this video.
I'm very new to the world of electric scooter, but I bought a Nevee S65 off Amazon last week, and let me tell you... it's a beast! I weigh 260+ and it really pushes me up to the max advertised speed, with comfort and stability. Highly recommended! Seems very well built, zero problems yet.
is good scooter but in future you will have problems with tires
I bought my KQI3 Pro based on ESG reviews. I absolutely love it!
For how much? There crazy expensive 😂
I bought my Zero 8X based on a Jimmy Chang (now Freshly Charged) channel review. This is still one of the best scooters in class and has changed very little.
I fell for the advertisement too and bought it. It's a decent scooter, but the real trouble starts when you damage the tire. First, I waited for six months for the tires to become available on their website. Now, it's been another six months, and I've been struggling to find someone who can replace it for me because it's impossible to replace tubless tire by myself, and nobody wants to take on the job.
for just a little bit more you could've gotten a g2 max
I didn’t do much research and got kqi3 max for 560$ in September.. 202 days later half of which it was sitting cuz of rain and I put 1052 miles on it.. am now going to get another scooter (that has shocks) for 300$
amazing video, informative and professional thank you
thank you for your video very informative for my purchase in couple of months
My daily commute Niu Kqi3 Pro has about 3,000 miles ridden. Changed the rear tire twice. It's still going strong.
My wife bought me my first scooter on Amazon (hurdle motorgear)-simple 350watt entry level scooter. Lasted a good 4 years before it started falling apart. Still runs though. The reviews on Amazon are just all over the place. Hard to decipher. I got an evercross H5 from Walmart. That was a decent mid-grade scooter. Now I have the nanrobot lightning that I went straight to the manufacturer. All my scooters have solid tires. The tires on these scooters are just too small and prone to flats. I’m looking to upgrade to something faster but it looks like I’ll have to give up my solid tire mandate. The scooters that I’m looking at all have air tires.
Thank you, I was just riding the Lime scooter that tops off at 15mph and it was really fun.
KQI 300X vs the KQI3 Max? I’m curious how the suspension is, since I currently have the Max and was thinking of getting the 300X for my girlfriend.
What about the hover-1 pro boss r500, what's your take on this model. I had mine for almost a year and it's awesome the only maintenance I have to worry about are changing the brake pads.
Man with the f2 pro at $650, the gotrax gmax ultra for $580, the niu kqi3 at $640, and the inmotion climber at $700 which would you recommend (all within budget in a hilly area for daily commuting). Great vids, thanks!
My job is pretty close, I just got the KQI2 PRO for 250$ such a steal, appreciate the video man I feel like I made an Smart purchase
Where did you buy it from?
I have the HiBoy S2 Pro. I went with this because I was able to add a seat for longer rides. Way more comfortable than standing. I have bad knees and legs. I can remove the seat whenever I want. The seat post and seat also folds and it’s strong and well built. Rare option for escooters to have optional seat attachment. Price is also fair. Great range as well.
I like the evercross H5 and H7. Also has good build quality and comes with a foldable seat.
@@grazz7865 I just looked those up. The H5 & H7 seem like solid options & the prices are decent. Yeah the range of 28 miles and at 28mph is excellent for most. I'm really considering the H7.
@@knowledge5106_ the H7 is their latest design. They included more deck lights and a rear foot rest. Scooter looks sharp.
@@knowledge5106_ H7 is one of thier latest models. More deck lights and a rear foot rest. Scooter looks sharp. They still kept the solid tires-so no flats and it still comes with the seat.
Thanks for summarize this task.
recently bought the gotrax ultra, took it for a test drive after charging it and the battery was on the last bar after a 20 mile ride when it claims 45 mile range. i waited for it to cooldown before charging the battery only for the charger to turn off and stop working and it only went up 1 bar so now it has 2 bar battery. Best 1st time e scooter experience
Im about to buy two scooters. From your experience which scooter handles hills that best? 10mph would be nice and $500 or less. Thanks!
Would you recommend Gyroor ? I’m planning to get the Gyroor C1S because I want to take my dog a ride as well
I have the kqi3 pro and i love it it has a great range and its realy comfortable the only bad thing is that you have to ride 200 m after watching tutorial to be able to disable eco mode
Above your price point, however I bought the Obarter D5 from Amazon a year ago.
Thoroughly a Beast. Thanks Amazon.
Is 5th Wheel a good brand to buy a scooter from?
Hey RK9.....new subcriber here.....have you tried the zsnake scooter? What are your thoughts on this one?
Is the t108 tif galop a good scooter?
Some scooters that really don't get covered that could be on this list but aren't are the ones made by titan unigogo (the OEM for tons of brands like vsett, Makuta, ausom, joyor, etc)
Great advice
I have the climber. Had it 2 weeks and about 80 miles so far. Even through a blizzard.
I’m around 280 lbs is there anything one you would recommend for me ? I work like 10 miles away 🙏
@Qb_da_don he is talking about the inmotion climber and that would probably be good for you if you have $700 for it but at that price you could also get a fat tire ebike and enjoy your cruise more.
How much do these scooters actually weigh? For instance, Segway's F2Pro, according to Amazon specs, weighs 43 pounds. Does this include the packaging? 43 pounds is alot of weight if you've got to carry it up a flight of stairs or two, every day. It can certainly be done but 43 pounds isn't quite commuter friendly, especially on a college campus where you've got to take it with you in classrooms, library, cafeteria, etc.
I purchased the 5800 wat ZSnake. I was wondering if you have ridden it? I've put 35 miles on it, and it seems too be of good quality. It looks cool, front and back, and the back 2800 wat motors dual coil shocks front and back. And it's fast.
I was looking at some of those 5600 watt scooters. Wasn’t sure of the brands. I know brands aren’t everything. Some brand names are sold from company to company so you really don’t know what you’re getting.
@grazz7865 I get we're your coming from. But I gotta tell you this scooters the bomb. It is very well made and fast noby tires dual front and back coil shocks, the only thing I don't like about it is you can't get into the program on the scooter. I took off the deck. It has dual speed controllers, and you can tell they took their time wiring this scooter .hydraulic brakes. Huge display screen that's easy to see in bright light. I had it up to 42 GPS miles per hour and said that's enough
Also I watch a lot of videos on hiper scooters and none look and feel as rugged as this Sniky Zsnake
@@TheBuell49 I've just ordered one my self. I'm surprised there are not more reviews of it! It's entirely different from the "TifGalop" etc., scooters. The customer service is already amazing, I've got 3 emails from the company and it isn't even delivered yet. 6 month warranty on most of it. @rk9rides - You should check this one out, for real!
I bought an aovopro es80 and it was a really good reliable scooter for the money.
Hi there! Please help me to choose right scooter.
I try to find a best light weight, fun, with good suspension scooter. I have checked around 40 models and choose only 3 of them.
Mantis 8 or 10.
Dualtron raptor 2 or eagle.
My aim is jump a lot of bumps, aggressive ride in park dirt roads. And here in Ukraine we have a bad asphalte with a lot of holes and i am scary to lose all my teeth.
Raptor 2 has the best perfomance compare to a weight of just 22kg (48lbs). But... it has only 8 inch tiers which i scary with out bad roads... But it also goes iwth rubber suspension which is good for jumping but again seems bad for raod as dualtron comes with airless tires.
Mantis 8 has spring suspensions nad + 3 kg.
But Mantis 10 as Dualtron eagle, comes with 10 inch tiers but 30 kg (66lbs) which is a huge difference and i am just not sure... spring suspensions and + kg weight or runbber suspensions light weight....
Is moto punk max good scooter?
HiBoy s2 pro lasted me 3 years and I gave that thing hell, weight limit is 220lb and I alone weight 224lb, add my gear and stuff I would carry with me, I'm happy with it, Cirscooter Raptor us a giant beast but damn is it good, bad thing? The throttle button is on the side to push which I don't like and the light only aimed forward and not forward down, so I couldn't see the road but could see the buildings 😆
any comments on the : HOVERMAX H10K Pro Electric Scooter....thx
I've got terrible experiences with Okai,
Got a Neon II, 1 months after : red light stopped working for no reason, they send me another one, that I have to change myself (which was a PAIN to do), after, winter so I stop using to scooter... cause welllll, snow, started using it again, makes weird noice, so I wrote them, they tell me to remoove the tire to clean it, might be some things between the tire and the scooter, which there was, put back the tire, no more sound, nice ! Use it on a dry normal road to go to my job, 5h later, my shift is finish annnnd, it doesn't start, take the bus and try charging it, nop won't charge, wrote to them with a video, they tell me to check if there wasn't a false connection in the control panel (in the base, which I never opened), try opening it, on of the screw is alredy stripped, even tho it's NEW and I never opened that part, wrote them back, in that time, my scooter came back to life, I try charging it and it went down again for 2 whole week, didn't have any answer for two weeks, call bestbuy for a refound (Legal warranty is a law here for anything that is bought in a shop here, which means that an item should survive for a legit amount of time according to the price and the nature of the item, which is for an 800 bucks scooter, more than 6 months), they tell me to call the company, call them, now they offered me to ship it to them, I shipped it, took 2 weeks to arrive there, got an email saying the scooter seems fine asking what was wrong, sent the SAME DAMN VIDEO and explaining that it went dark again after I tried charging it so it might be a battery problem of a loose wire, and got no news since then, it's been a week.
Never buy an Okai scooter, worse experience. Hoping they repare it or I could at least get a partial refound
Caroma In my opinion is the best When it comes to the price and How fast the scooter goes.Mine goes up to twenty miles per hour for $280!!
What do you think about joyor s8-s ??
Does anyone know what the real difference js between the segway ninebot E2 pro and rhe segway ninebot E2 pro E. Recently bought the E2 pro E but i dont get the differences .
The Ninebot E2 Pro E has a higher battery capacity (384Wh vs 320Wh) and a longer maximum range (up to 20 miles vs 17 miles) compared to the standard Ninebot E2 Pro. However, they share the same top speed and other features. The E2 Pro E is slightly heavier due to the larger battery pack.
Does anyone have a problems with tires on kqi3 pro/max, i saw a lot of comments on amazon that people complained
Very good but i recommend using PURE its fast as hell and looks good
I went on a whim and bought a cheap isinwheel s10 plus and for 399 on sale it is amazing great quality goes 21mph rear Regen and front drum brake.. I was amazed but it's awful for hills but who would expect a 500 watt motor to be good on Pittsburgh PA hills . For reference I have a wide wheel pro and a wolf warrior x
I have the nanrobot lightning dual motor 1600 watts. My third scooter. Can’t go back to the slower ones.
@@grazz7865 I feel that but when I'm riding on bike trails I hardly go over 15mph anyways
Still hating on the Qpower2 lol I moded mine and I still like it. But you do you buddy
Best Value for anything Under 1k is Kugoo Kirin G3 at only $599 with free shipping. 31mph and 52v system.
Wat about the Hloie??
I got a Hiboy S2pro from Amazon this week, it came in under 40 hours. It works great.
F2 pro has no hydraulic front suspension. It's just spring. G2 does have one.
Can you review the AOKDA scooter please
I’d like to see that one too. Very few honest reviews on CZcams. Only ads from the company. I was looking at the Q7. Looks sharp. And for $999 -can’t beat the price. Not sure about the quality though
Segway Ninebot P100S/P65 for 1k is gr8 deal, thats what I paid for the ninebot max and its slower with worse breaks
I bought a e scooter on Amazon, off brand. 900 miles in all winter ride. It's still going strong. I'm looking at yume next.
Which one how much
Looking for the best under $1500 and so far i like the titan 10 (10")..
How is Gyrocopters brand models?
The turbo ants v2 are really good they should be included
What do you think about Kugоo G2 Max?
Stick with the brands recommended in this video.
Plus the Kugoo Kirin has a 1200 watt motor that can climb a 30% grade
How is this scooter? How long have you had it? Any issues or things to mention?
You should review the new NIU kqi 300x
I did a first look at it on Electric Scooter Guide and hopefully I can get my hands on one to review soon!
Does any of the scooters have an integrated GPS Tracking system? Or could you recommend one?
Had a scooter before, got stolen. Gone forever. Lesson learned. If I can hide somewhere a GPS tracker that can locate my scooter 🛴 I can simply call the cops and ask them to drive to my GPS tracker.
Plus, I don’t need to worry about locking or hiding my scooter anymore. Thief’s will be caught right away.
Are you Mitchell from ESG?! You sound familiar yet I don't see your face anywhere in this channel!
Yessir 🫡
@@RK9Rides Wow!
Can't believe you got me a Segway Ninebot F2 Pro and was the only "big dawg" reviewer of it!
Great scooter but quite subpar in the reliability and maintenance department with the disc brake and currently irreplaceable tires.
Ninebot sucks I have gone through so many ES4’s. So many battery and system board issues. Stay away.
i got the gotrax g4, its coming tmrw lol
I had that, just be careful with the brakes since they are a bit weak
@@sockreacts6936 yeah i noticed that too, i just tightened them and it works fine
Dualtron thunder 3 here whoop whoop
😂😂😂😂. Dualtron will never make this list. Not because it’s a bad scooter. Dualtron is actually top of the line. Out of my price range and well over the $1000 limit on this video. 😂😂😂. Sharp looking well made scooters though.
@grazz7865 yes most definitely
are this Scooter selfbalanceing?? if it do i buy 1 because i need 1 to go around lasvegas
Thanks
Damn I was hoping ya gonna talk crap about that scooter in the thumbnail. lmao A relative of mine actually owns that and was curious how bad it is.
Do you have any experience or thoughts on taking your scooter on a bus?
Whats a good scooter for a 10 year old
One of my longest running scooters is a piece of Chinese junk with a front wheel that falls out if you lift it off the ground, but it was 200 bucks and the throttle and brake are butter smooth. xD Seriously though, don't buy non-brand scooters. My Glion scooters are unavoidably janky but work reasonably well, are loud, if you view that as a positive (I do, safety vs pedestrians) , and take up the least space since they stand upright.
kqi3 pro - 32kmh - very nice
What is your thing about trigger throttles and bashing thumb throttles? Its a matter of preference but you tend to make it look like scooters that use thumb throttles are less than and its kind of disingenuous honestly. For instance I find trigger throttles abhorrent and cannot stand them, I hate the way they make my hand flex and because I have broken a bone in that hand before, trigger throttles are very uncomfortable and thumb throttles are where its at. But I don’t make scooters that use trigger throttles less than. I think you need to let that go in your reviews man, its kind of pretentious no offense.
Thumb throttles suck. They were invented for the ATC that also sucked. Invented for a problem that a simple shift in body position fixed. A shift in body position required to turn without flipping anyway.
@@petemitchell6788 Thata an absolutely bogus explanation, and to each his own because in my own opinion trigger throttles are absolutely abhorrent and so do a large number of riders. The makers of Apollo scooters also explained in one of their videos why they choose to use mostly thumb throttles, they expressed liking both variations but that customers overwhelmingly asked for thumb throttles, this also is a partial explanation why so many scooters, even high end ones use thumb throttles. People absolutely hate trigger throttles, and so do I.
I love my thumbed gt pro so much
@@k29king1 I’m actually genuinely curious why the trigger throttles are so prevalent on scooters. Is there some big advantage to them that was established that I’m unaware of? My first scooter had a trigger throttle, I loved the scooter, but when I upgraded to my new scooter that has a thumb throttle I liked that so much more. I see so many of the trigger throttles though on all the scooters, even the real expensive ones, so I’m assuming there must be a reason they are so popular. I personally thought it was kind of awkward having to use the index finger to throttle then use your remaining 3 fingers to work the break. It was still no problem to operate though.
@@MadGunnyperhaps to a niche with a loud microphone. There’s a reason the majority of scooters have a thumb throttle. As mentioned above, Apollo makes their scooters with significant input from probable buyers, and they requested thumb throttles. Ive never tried a trigger throttle, but I don’t see how it would be any better. So long as you’ve got some sort of cruise control I don’t see the issue
I’m looking for a scooter to do Uber eats
Please let me know your opinion on YUME scooter from Amazon, under $2K
How is the 5th wheel m1 electric scooter?
Max g2 is absolute shit, i felt so bad for talking by budy into buying one so he could join me in dcotering. His battery life is no hwre close to what it claims. It cant govup any hills for shit, itd so unstable, eco mode is like 8mph. Which is brutal. Just to go 15 he had to put itnin sport mode which destroys his battery life in 20 mins. You feel every little rock. Tbh all these scooters you showed are shit, i bough a bogist c1 pro for 799 cad and it foes 30mph, goes weeeeeigh further than my friends scooter, and can actuslly go up hills, has good front andback suspension. And had has awesome offroading tires.
You’re right. All those scooters with the exception of the inmotion are entry level scooters-350-500 watts. I had those. Got bored quick and now I have a nanrobot lightning. Never looking back
DO NOT BUY a GoTrax. I purchased one from Amazon and it did not work. They sent a replacement that DID NOT WORK. Now I am waiting for a refund to try a different brand.
