  • Tenzin and company have a less than wonderful time in the spirit world. Sure will be great to get back home and never have to deal with spirits ever again!

"That doesn't prove anything. That mushroom could be lying." Is a sentence I never thought I'd hear outside of a Burning Man.

this is why if they do a future series of the next Avatar it would be smart that whoever he or she is will be the one to restore the connections to the past avatars, that way it would continue the series' general theme of the next avatar succeeding where the previous avatar failed. like with Roku being unable to stop Sozin and end the war. Or like with Korra, allowing the spirits and mortals to live together, also the fact that it leads to the return of the airbenders. it makes too much sense to not go that route

Hey, I go to Arby's intentionally!

"Arby's then. No one goes there intentionally." LINKARA would like to have a word with you.

I recall being upset when this happened, because with the severing of the connection I thought it meant that every previous life/soul in that line was eradicated. Untethered from the cycle and lost forever, neither alive or dead. What a horrific fate to befall Aang, Roku and every previous avatar
I have been convinced that that didn't actually happen, that Aang and the others still exist and will be able to enjoy their after life, but boy was I tilted

I wont be surprised if this slowly but surely be fixed down the line, like perhaps maybe some effort will be made to restore the connections one avatar at a time.

It was easily the worst thing to happen in the series. The spirit kaiju fight was a little silly but to basically erase 10,000 years of avatar knowledge is not ok.

As I remember, there's an ongoing theme with Avatar's fixing the issues of previous Avatars (Roku not dealing with Sozin led to the Airbender genocide, which Aang had to fix, similar issues in the books, that I don't want to get into for sake of spoilers), so presumably the Earthbender Avatar after Korra will work to reconnect with the past Avatars.

I mean, what else could have happened? That evil kite was clearly aiming to do one thing kill the Avatar and he did every version until the current one.

The Avatar didn't seem to work that way. Remember when Aang had to travel to the Temple to talk to Roku? Why did he need to do that if Roku was inside of him? It's because the Avatar isn't an actual reincarnation of each previous Avatar. Rava simply carried a copy of their memories within her.

Its a shame this season had some bad mishaps . Giant spirit fight, erasing all previous avatars. Because season 3 is really really good and alot of people stopped watching after this.

Good how? Korra turns full on bitch mode when people tell her they don't want to share the city with spirits that can kill them with just a touch. Funny how she is enforcing something onto people she was against previous season.

Air bending reintroduced. Everything with Zaheer who is easily the best villan from korra. The bei-fongs. Etc

Yeah by this point in the series, I had to consider it separate from ATLA in order to enjoy it.
