  • Korra defeats the villain and stops his evil plan, and by 'stop'. I of course mean 'carry out.'

Wan needed 3 tries to figure out which hand was his left. Korra just calls them both left and punches anything that tries to correct her.

Really hope this is the last time he has to upload this, so he can finally do the rest of Korra.

Doubtful, the algorithm allows no joy in this world.

I dread the day when Chuck gets copyright flags for the "Let's All Go to the Lobby" song.

Not gonna lie, when I first watched this I didn't expect giant blue Korra.

I was certain the final showdown we were building to would be the spirits coming to help Korra defeat Unalaq because, while they had been wronged, he was going too far. The punching match between glowing giants was stunningly disappointing.

You know... It would have been one hell of a twist if Jenora had become the new avatar, and Korra became better at everything without the avatar abilities to rely on.

Varrek is the only great thing in this series along with Julee who helps his insane plans.

I did somewhat enjoy the series as a whole, but it could have been so much more. I love the setting, and some of the ideas are great, but the execution just lacks any of the cohesive energy that the original series had.
I think The Legend of Korra's biggest and most blatant flaw is its characters, especially Korra herself, even though they had big potential. I didn't mind her in the first season, since her character was nicely set up to undergo a good arc, but that arc never really happened, at least not cohesively. Instead, she refused to learn from her experience and in some regards even regressed.
There was also a lack of motivation for their actions for some characters, especially Korra, which made it hard to sympathize with her when she screwed up everything there is to screw up. It's extra frustrating, since she should have already known better from her past experiences.
Furthermore, "Team Avatar" seemed like they were all kind of doing their own thing after the first season, and weren't even trusting each other.
And if that wasn't enough, the overall story felt kind of disjointed, especially in later seasons.

Agreed, especially on that last point. By the end of this season I didn’t understand why these people were friends. The Korra-Mako-Asami love triangle had imploded not once but twice, and Bolin was basically the poor dumb kid trying to keep the family together.

I already had a low opinion of Korra before I got to this episode. Nice of the writers to confirm that, yes, Korra is a disaster - that everyone in the setting would have been better off if Aang had not only been The Last Airbender, but also The Last Avatar.

The next avatar, looking at the one past life advisor being Korra:
"The F$@& did you do and why should I trust your life advice?!"

@@hariman7727 No, her successor would _know_ what she did and exactly _why_ not to trust her advice.
