Nice test results, as for reference my 5600x runs 73C on this great cooler and runs 75C on my noctua nh12s. And 73C on and nzxt kraken 240. The ak620 is really a capable cooler in par with 240 aios.
My one is getting too hot. Easily reaching 100 degree. Did you use bending corrector?

오...! 그동안 봤던 13900k 다른 벤치 영상들은 다 전력제한 해제된 상태였나보군여.. 순정은 3만5천 언저리네요 좋은 정보 알아갑니당.
보드 제조사마다 디폴트 설정값이 다릅니다. Z690i 유니파이에서는 기본적으로 전력제한이 살짝 걸려있는거같습니다.

어? 바이오스 손안대고 그냥 순정바이오스 셋팅 상태의 메인보드라면 13900K도 공냉타워를 써도 문제 없는겁니까?
전 발열 못잡는다고 해서 13900K 포기하고 14700K로 구입하려고 하는데 어차피 둘다 발열이 똥이지만 말입니다....
14700K AK620으로 바이오스 안건드리면 쓸만 할까요? 게임 조금 하고 하루에 몇시간 정도 지브러시 할 용도입니다. 대부분은 유튜브나 웹서핑입니다.
보드마다 다릅니다.
제가 사용한 마더보드는 Z칩셋 보드에 기본적으로 순정에서 230W 정도의 전력제한이 설정된게 디폴트였습니다.
전력제한이 완전히 해제된게 디폴트인 보드나 B칩셋 보드의 경우 온도가 다르게 나올 수 있습니다.
다만, 시네벤치 R23 올코어 로드 기준이기때문에 이정도 부하가 아니라면 보통은 그냥 쓰셔도 온도가 높게찍히는 일은 없을겁니다.

Mine z690i unify with 13600k and ddr5 6400mhz cl32 can stable using lite load mode 3 only. Running 180w at 85c max using se-207xt slim cooler. Cinebench score only 22k, dunno why cannot get 24k like others haha.
I really want to lower my temp. Appreciate if u show us on how to undervolt manually with this msi motherboard.
Btw this cooler not bad too, can handle the beast haha.
I think the score of 1-2,000 points will be an error depending on the test environment and OS optimization or the presence or absence of a background program.
In the next video, let's prepare an offset undervolting video instead of CPU Lite Load.
Use ThrottleStop to undervolt, make sure to use No UVP in the MSI Bios... and use mode 9 or auto
why use throttlestop to undervolt when enabling no uvp in msi bios already unlocks vcore undervolting?
@@giodegracia undervolting in Bios affect performance, the cpu will for unknown reasons stop performing at full speed.
@@chiyolate i don't know mine works fine, no uvp enabled, -0.160v, 30k on cinebench r23 on par with other stock 13700k's..cpu lite load is the one that lowers performance when i adjust it to lower setting.
@@giodegracia Then mine was probably buggy, because with No uvp set, even a slight change in the voltage offset made my 13700K scored around 22 to 24k, so frustrating I had to set everything on Auto including the lite load mode, and relied on Throttlestop. I will try the latest bios when I have a free time and see if I can undervolt it through the bios only. Thanks for your information.
@@chiyolate before updating the bios on my MSI mag b760m i had no option to undervolt without losing performance, and lite load only made the performance worst, after updating the bios to the latest undervolt offset now works and my lite load is on auto (mode9) and pl1 pl2 set to max..im currently sitting at 1.25v. temps still reach 90c on 3rd run at cinebench but i always score 30k..
이 쿨러 구매 고려중인데 Z790 Prime 보드 기준 13700K 정도는 괜찮을까요? 14700K는 무조건 수냉이라해서 포기 했습니다. 프리미어 프로 작업용이고 그렇게 빡센 편집은 아니에요
13세대던 14세대던 공랭쿨러에 CPU 전력설정을 맞추면 됩니다. 공랭 시스템에선 Z790 PRIME정도면 충분할거같습니다. 최근 14700K 듀얼타워 공랭쿨러로 테스트한 영상도 있습니다. (애즈락 Z790 PRO RS리뷰를 14700K 공랭으로 테스트햇씁니다.)

It's also a good idea to consider power limit options and undervolting. Among the videos I uploaded, there is a video that tested 14700K with an air-cooled CPU cooler.

Im gonna get either the ak620 or the new deepcool assassin IV and the assassin costs more by like 20$ and i saw performance benchmarks but the it was just 4-6 degrees cooler what do you say which one to get?
I don't think the temperature difference of 4-6 degrees is a small difference. But it's just my opinion. If you think it's worth your $20 investment, choose Assassin IV.
It dependes more on your budget, but you also have to consider Assasin IV fans make more noise, if that doesn't bother yoy then go ahead
Looks like 4.9 is the max this cooler can handle that's decent. It's looks are killer.

It may vary depending on the motherboard model, but it seemed impossible on the motherboard I used.
How well would this cooler fare with a ryzen 5 7600x? I'm leaning towards buying it for my pc.
If you have enough budget, I think it will show great cooling performance. Someone might think it's too much of a CPU cooler.

I think a CPU cooler in the form of a single tower is enough. If you don't like the temperature of the PBO default setting, applying a custom PBO setting will significantly reduce the temperature.

In the case of the Non-X version, the single-tower CPU cooler allowed sufficient cooling. AK620 and Assain IV will cool enough.

As far as I know, the cooling performance of ak620 and ag620 is almost the same.

I previously bought a cooler from be quiet dark rock. his pipes touched the radiator on m.2. I will be grateful if you answer.
The relatively recent DEEPCOOL AK620 is designed for compatibility with ITX form factor-sized motherboards.
However, I haven't tested Z490-I STRIX myself, so I don't think I can give you an exact answer.

It depends on the environment in which you use the PC, but I think an affordable dual-tower air-cooler will be enough.

The LS720 is an AIO cooler that provides higher cooling performance than an air-cooled CPU cooler.

I don't think it will be enough to handle overclocking. (The limits are clear with air-cooled CPU coolers to handle high loads.)
BS testing. He undervolted CPU and made p cores turbo ratios to x49 instead of x55, as well as turbo boost power cut from 250 to 190-200 watts.
Absolutely any cooler and any cooling is useless for 13-14th generation without limiting turbo boost power and frequency. Don't even waste your money.
I'm running 13700k P cores at 5.4ghz and E cores at 4.3ghz on Noctua nhd 15 reaching over 75°C in battlefield 2042 😂 but Still I'm getting insane fps. I hope someone will make better air cooler than nhd 15
No you don't. Because I'm running my 14700k at factory defaults 5.4ghz with 85-90 degrees temperatures. To make 75 degrees I must cut turbo boost power to 125-130 watts and run at x50 cores ratios or not over 5ghz plus undervolting at least -0.015V

@@paranature1917 14600k is not as overheated as 14700k or 14900k. But if you are having temperatures in games over 80-85c then in my opinion it's not the best way to keep your CPU alive for a long time. The best you can do is limit turbo boost power in BIOS from 181/125 watts to 120/120 or even 110/110 and limit all cores frequencies from x53 multipliers to x40 or x42, depends on your cooler and room temperature. I did same with my 14700k with one of the cheapest Zalman x9 Perfoma Black cooler and now I'm having temperatures in games and benchmarks not over 68-70 degrees. Lost 14% of performance, but my PC is absolutely noiseless.

It may vary depending on the indoor temperature and the environment where the PC is installed, but a cool place seems enough. If the temperature is high, use the TDP Limit function.@@adensenpai8547

Yes, that's right. Benchmark tools that are loaded on all cores are clocked down because they are defaulted to operate at a value lower than the original power consumption.
