    Its black hardware and components include a Floyd Rose 1000 double-locking tremolo, LTD tuners, and a set of direct-mount high-output ESP LH-301 pickups with red covers, offering excellent tonal clarity, well-rounded highs and lows, and superb articulation.
    Few guitarists have had a bigger impact on the origins of thrash metal than Gary Holt. Joining his friend Kirk Hammett in Bay Area band Exodus in 1981, Gary has written and performed on every Exodus album ever made. When Slayer needed someone qualified to fill in for the iconic guitarist Jeff Hanneman for their final album and tours, Gary was the obvious choice!

    Great playing and extremely cool guitar! Shame about the jatoba board, personally find it weird they didn't go with any of the many cheaper black fretboard options.

    They have this listed as having stainless steel frets but the pictures of this guitar does not look like stainless steel. Does any one know if this is true or not.

    idk why, but this reminds me of "Little Tikes", "Mattel" or maybe even "Fischer Price" or even one of the other brands youd find back in the day at a toys-r-us store, or in most toy aisles at larger stores.
    its just reminds me of a childs toy, honestly.
    a really expensive childs toy....

      Probably just because it looks so small in Dagan’s hands, but that’s not the guitar’s fault, Dagan is like 6’6” or something very tall like that

    • @millermonsterair
      @millermonsterair Před 10 dny

      @@MrWill9894 no, its not that. i am 6ft 5in tall. in person, it literally reminds me of little tikes toddler toys because of the red pickups. they even look like toy red color, in person, too. has nothing to do with how tall Dagan is. its has everything to do with the color of the pickups and then, the rest of it isnt helping its case.

    Sorry, but it sounds like garbage through that setup....
    I have a set of GH EMGs and believe me they sound so much better than this mud.
    Edit I wrote this before watching the entire video.
    If this is a true signature from esp/Ltd I'm very disappointed. Gary's emgs need to be in it
    So plan on $230 for a set of pickups and install. Probably fret work and strings. So to make it sound like Gary plan on $500 minimum after purchase.

      It might be because of the amp, but the guitar is pretty killer and Dagan made a good review of this guitar. Btw this is the entry level Gary Holt guitar so you are getting LTD own branded pickups, which are not the most articulate, but if you like Floyd Rose guitars this is a good starting point on a budget, unfortunatele for me I detest floating bridges. Cheers!

      There is a full blown official LTD version with Gary's EMG's, Neck Thru Construction and Floyd Rose 1000. It is around $2000 which is very expensive for an LTD.

      @@vinaymulukutla358 Yeah the 1000 and Deluxe series from LTD are getting crazy expensive.
