- I got a chance to play a used ESP Gary Holt Made in Japan Signature guitar. I apologize for the ending leads. It was not completely set-up with the floyd and drastically out of tune.
Super rad guitar, I enjoyed it. Can't say its worth $5,600 brand new. But it was very cool to play. - Hudba
Finally, some thrash riffs through thrash humbuckers on a thrash guitar. Not another dork playing SRV style licks and corny hard rock with low gain settings.

Cheers man! The LTD version is a great one. I'm not sure I'm convinced to pay the $5,000 Price tag this guitar is however.
i dont think theres an ltd version of this guitar. if there is, i've never seen it and google brings up nothing?

I think they are $7,500 now. They definitely don't feel like a $7,500 instrument or even a $5000 instrument.

@lfader Thanks for the kind words! LTD does make some great models for sure, and certainly, so many brands have out-of-pocket pricing. Gibson, ESP, for sure definitely have.

I noticed the spike before lockdown on Les Paul Customs they were still around 2K a little more little less than the alpines mid 2's low 3k's black beauties a little less now everything starts at 4K It's b******* everyone's doing it even studios I see going that were 7 8 900 bucks now 14-1800 ?
The The build quality on LTD to ESP for the money difference now It's a no-brainer and LTD has the same headstock NOT the Epiphone Gibson curse!
They put in quality pickups use ebony fret binding I've also owned Floyd PRS 24 SE customs and again for that price point It's not a wood library PRS of course not But the top still looks great The fretboard the pickups are okay It's similar not as tricked out as LTD but affordable shredavle.
Blown away with this LTD custom Holt I have to pull the trigger now on that 87 reissue M1 It has DD-TB6s ⚡20 dB boost one vol knob Macassar ebony binding neck through
pass on the soloist Jackson (Hanneman 🌟) can't keep even come close to that unless you want to drop around 3K 3.5k
M1's on Reverb for around 8 to $1,200 It's got that soloist vibe always LOVE Jackson's a few charvel's over the years and LTDs now are kicking my ass I'm set- instead I can waste my money on Les Paul Custom shop 🥴 🤣👍 🤸
@@HunterRouthdamn dude, you could have scored it for less than $5k I bet when you were testing it out back then. That guitar is incredible! The finish alone and neckthru design with a floyd can easily command that price. Hardly any exists and they take years to make at the ESP Japan custom shop. That liquid metal finish is the best out there. Holt has black pups that make the guitar look even more sick. Plays easily and can take a beating. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
