- The Leader of the Official Opposition of Canada and Federal Conservative Party Leader, Pierre Poilievre, was in Hamilton as part of a tour of southwestern Ontario and sat down with Adam Atkinson for an exclusive TV interview.
i'll be voting conservative. chretien ok.... paul martin ok.... heck harper wasn't all that bad. but justin trudeau no. i am forced to vote conservative. the liberal party needs to purge. it's a shell of what it once was.
Under Trudeau, the Liberals have been reduced to a WOKE cult, with a penchant for tyranny.

He negotiated 2008 with little to harm and his only scandal was him asking Mike Duffy to pay back 90k in expense claims. Go figure. Let’s count J Castro scandals and severity.

With all due respect, the vast majority of the mandates for health care workers came down from the Provincial government and not the federal government, as health care in Canada is regulated provincially and not federally. The federal government funds health care to a certain degree through health transfer Canada, but the provincial and territorial governments are responsible for the management, organization and delivery of health care services for their residents. @@maxchapman5976 that extends to a lot of things too. As much as I hate Trudeau (I REEAAALLY fuckin do) people need to put blame on their provincial and municipal leaders. Yeah sure stuff does trickle down from the top, and they can set policy goals and the like. But if we put as much pressure on the provincial governments and municipals as we do on the feds I think we would be in a much better position .

All he talks about is the economy and 35 year olds living in their parents basements but nothing about how our rights and freedoms are being infringed upon or how he plans to return them to us. But I also believe in the PPC when reading their platform. I noticed that the CPC has too many liberals on their team and that's the problem with the party. Mr O'TOOLE also failed when he ran on one policy and once elected changed how he ran the party you can't have some members on the left and some on the right. Maxime Bernier is a quebecoise and a Frenchman but is always on the right and not left or right depending on the day.

I did not like his comment about Christine Anderson. Trudeau was applauding when he said she was “vile”, if indeed, that was true. I had been listening to Christine Anderson with interest, but heard no racism. Still no clarity as far as I am concerned. Maybe a listener here might be able to help me out. Pierre threw out a '1 liner' & moved on.
She has said that she does not hava a problem with muslims, but that she has a problem with Islam, which she considers to be an ideology. She is for controlled immigration, and against uncontrolled immigration. This is all that I could find.

It's something disappointing to hear, Mr. Polievre confirming what Bryan Lilley published about Christine Anderson but also, so strange that Polievre and the enterviewer said Christine views are racist, etc but they both don't provide evidence, I had seen many videos of Christine and so far on my eyes she is not a radical on her views, at least that loving freedom, individual rights and government accountability could be something extremists these days, otherwise she looks very good politician and human being to me... sorry to disagree with Pierre and if he has that concept of her, I am sorry because I share her views, specially about Trudeau and I think I should find another candidate who shares my views because Polievre is going woke these days...

With all due respect, the vast majority of the mandates for health care workers came down from the Provincial government and not the federal government, as health care in Canada is regulated provincially and not federally. The federal government funds health care to a certain degree through health transfer Canada, but the provincial and territorial governments are responsible for the management, organization and delivery of health care services for their residents.

I think it comes down to this - Pierre is entitled to his opinion (whether it be right or wrong in our eyes) he is still entitled to it, just as we all are. This is what freedom of speech is. There is the age old saying that we should all live by - "I may not agree with what you say, but I will fight to the death for you to have the right to say it".

He shouldn't have abandoned the CPC. I was in Alberta when the NDP won. That occurred because the Wildrose split the conservative vote. The Liberals are done, regardless of what the polls say. However, the NDP has a path to victory if Max gains enough support. You really need to think about that.
Could we take out the influence of the United Nations, World Health Organization and the World Economic Forum on our Canadian policies? I am amazed at how Canadian policies and legislation are based on these outside, non-elected organizations. Our environmental policies like the carbon tax, the push to electric vehicles, farming restrictions on fertilizer, smart cities are based on ideas from NGOs. I am not fond of Canada signing up on the Pandemic Prepardness Treaty from the World Health Organization and the Agile Nation Charter from the World Economic Forum. These policies when enacted are not in the best interests of Canadians. I also fear the overreach of digital identification and digital currency. I am aware that the Unknown Traveler Digital Identification came as a partnership between Canada, the Netherlands, selected airports, biometrics and analysis companies with the World Economic Forum as the main party. We need Canadian policies for Canadians.
Don't think it's possible. People who support or are involved in government generally support hierarchy, in varying degrees. Those orgs you mention are just part of the pyramid, at which position I don't know. The politicians swear an oath to serve this hierarchy.

While I'll definitely be voting CPC when the time comes, these were some pretty "groomed" questions.

I abandoned PPC to rejoin the CPC because of Pierre and I voted for him for leader. But I still have my misgivings. Pierre never mentions Trudeau's unsustainable policy of mass migration that is adding to our housing crisis, medical crisis, driving up rents, adding pressure to our social services and competing for jobs. All while "EID" policies discriminate against legacy Canadians, especially white men, for govt and corporate jobs. Canadians are not replacing our own population by having babies. So mass immigration is the primary cause of these problems. Add to it, more importantly, the destruction of our culture, traditions and common values. Those are the ties that bind our country together. I get it. Pierre needs the immigrant vote. He never speaks of this. I hope he decreases immigration numbers substantially when he gets in. If he doesn't, many of us will go back to Maxime Bernier, who's policies are far superior. Then Pierre will have a conservative split again. "Liberal light" is NOT ok. Instead, follow Mike Harris' "common sense revolution" in Ontario that won him two terms. Put together sound conservative policies and SELL them to Canadians. WE ARE NOT A SOCIALIST COUNTRY!
