I thought that the J35A8 intake manifold was also magnesium, so shouldn't they be close to the same weight? Is the J35A8 intake thinner in height? I wonder if it being thinner would allow for an MDX intake spacer under the hood of a 3rd gen TL.

@@theaccordman2074 great save some money I just finished finish speaking with someone from p2r and is slipped his mouth he wasn't supposed to tell me but he's like oh well they're coming out in 6 months with a super flow manifold for the j series engine .
@@jacksan8026 No! J30 and j32s have the butterfly build in and no top plate. J35 and j37a1 2007-2009 is like a stage 2 with top plate butterfly. 68mm throttle body
I have a 6 speed 03 cl type s with the j32a2, bought it with what was told was a j35 intake manifold swap, and a few more bolt-ons. I haven't really dug into it or looked to really check if the intake manifold swap was true. Is there a real quick and easy way for me to tell? Thanks
Really cuz you got already the magnesium intake manifold. Try to find the j37a1 2010 to 2012 mdx J37a4 TL shawd J37a2 RL Dont get the ZDX due the map sensor have to relocate
it's just a lot of fluff in the video. I have lots of kids and work lots of hours. It would just be easier to be able to see a list of years and models compatible for a j32 and to know what ones have the largest diameter throttle body. it's hard to keep track in a video that is kind of spread out with him saying things and correcting himself and me not knowing what's right the first thing he said or the second. Guy seems to know his stuff though.

I dont know really due is different configuration 1 is drive by cable and the other is drive by wire I think 🤔

Very misleading measurements. The TB is tapered. J37 only around 69mm on the back of the TB.
J37a1 from mdx 2007-2009 it is 69mm. BUT J37A1 FROM MDX 2010 2012 IS 80MM

J32a2 is 1st gen j series. There's is no better Intake Manifold for your engine that comes with it
