Hey designer and modeler for NBDA here Baha making BDArmory for KSP is exactly why we named our mod NotBDArmory, as a nice lil homage to Baha's past work. Also how I came up with the stupid idea of adding rocket boosters to the mod. Well, originally it was made for the AH-94, cuz it was too slow lol
The f35 doesn't have an RCS system, the controls felt so lathargic because the air pressure at altitude is much lower, so the wings had less lift and the engine was starved of oxygen
It literally has RCS, it's a VTOL plane and it says it in the wiki, the real f35 also has flywheels and ducts for stabilising, the engine being starved I can agree with though.
How fast is Mach 1 Mach 2 and Mach 3? They are one, two, and three times the speed of sound respectively, or roughly 770 mph for Mach 1, 1540 mph for Mach 2, and 2310 mph for Mach 3.
Yes if you use S-CAM in Smooth look it removes the helmet automatically. This will also smooth out the game play, making it less nauseating. Alternatively in the game options you can disable the helmet.

VTOL VR is available on steam. You also need to download steam vr, have a vr headset and a PC that can run vr

It could be the mission you are trying to run, doesn't support them. If not that, it could be that it hasn't been updated yet
