That is so much more than just another river table, the design and craftsmanship on the base is amazing. Such an inspiration, I may try a similar base for my outdoor table that I am planning.(just for personal use)

Would u recommend to use 19mm blackboard with 6 inch border around and below the desk from the same blockboard to act as a support frame and add thickness to make a 5x2.5 feet table with ikea adils leg?
These are cow leather pieces to avoid the wood contacting the floor directly and to make the table stick to the floor so not to slide easily, unless the table is put on carpet then they are not necessary.
