- The first of a quickfire double-header as the gang all arrive on the Portuguese Riviera amid a frenzy of speculation about who would be driving Ferraris next year, with Prost seemingly just as keen to leave as the team were to make him stay - but also to talk to apparently every driver in the paddock over the weekend to put pressure on Alain.
In the meantime, there's a motor race to run, and one which Nigel Mansell really needs to do well in to keep his title hopes alive, while a win for Senna and a DNF for Mansell will pretty much decide things.

Andrea Sassetti buying Coloni, I am sure he'll give the team the real boost it needs.
This race essentially ended Mansell's title hopes. I remember being really upset when he was disqualified (not knowing all the rules). Great race by Martini, driver of the day.
The body was dated at about 4000 years old, or around the time Bernie first tried to put a New York race on the F1 calendar.

Martini truly was an unsung hero....he dodged a bullet by not being part of the 92 Ferrari team but at the same time, it's tempting to wonder just how he would've done instead of Capelli. It's hard though to think of a year where across the board, every team pulled a blinder in terms of design and car livery such as 1991.
I love how matter of fact James Hunt was when announcing that Mansell's wheel had gone AWOL.

If it's any louder, the video gets blocked.
It used to just be non-monetisable, but now if it recognises it it says "blocked in some countries".
I don't know what countries those *are*, of course. That would be useful in deciding how much to care about it.
I'm looking for an alternative for next season (which is about when the NBC stopped using it anyway)
@@TurbosTantrumsIn YT Studio it should tell you which countries it's blocked in, with Russia being the most common one. I've had this happen several times.
@@I-am-Josh aha, yes, doing a little digging it's Russia and Belarus. Well, I don't think I have too msny viewers there so I'll not lose sleep over it.
