I was super good at school (kinda like Evelyn); I was good at all the subjects, but I especially enjoyed reading and writing. To this day I hate math (I can do it pretty well , I just don't care for it). I was also incredibly shy and sensitive (like cry when your parents were late picking you up sensitive).
scribblots602 Oh my goodness I was super sensitive too. If I lost my homework I would cry in class😂 I was always a forgetful person; I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my neck.
I used to cry when I lost my homework too! Luckily it didn't happen too often. To this day I my eyes get wet and I still feel a little panic-y if I can't find my work.
My mom got mad at me for crying so much to get out of assignments so she made me write a note to my teachers that said "continue to review my assignment i'm just crying because i'm angry" :)

I was an average student in elementary, middle, high school, and college. My best subjects were reading and social studies; my worst were science and math. I also was a very quiet student so unless I was approached by someone with a question not a peep was heard from me.

I started the 3rd grade in the U.S. after 2 years in Nigeria, and I can't tell you how much I struggled. I was so BORED with how these kids were still on the basics when I had been doing long division the year before. My dumbass teacher took my boredom for total confusion and suggested I stay back a grade so I can "catch up". My parents agreed with her. So yeah. Elementary school kinda sucked🤣

Lol, that was great! I was shy and bookish. I was appalled at how much I didn't know (forgot or never knew) when I started homeschooling my kids. The good thing is now I get to learn all over again.

I was totally clueless in elementary school. I once got a zero on a math test 😅. But high school was great for me academically. I got into honors classes, which was a total shock.

In elementary school, I was really smart but I was socially dummmmbbbbb, like I just did not know how to carry myself around people because of how shy I was. Coming from a Jamaican family into a Canadian society where I didn't know who or wtf anybody was talking about was the icing on the awkward childhood cake!!! ...it was still good though. I was an okay student, I wasn't smart but I did my work so I got decent grades however I was weird af. Probably the main reason why I didn't really have friends just random kids I talked too.

I only got one wrong,
I confused FDR with George Washington because I remember GW having said something about no president serving for more than two terms and just assumed that he had.
I got a 60, this just proved to me how rusty my mind is. 👀 I was a pretty content elementary school kid, wasn't super nerdy but wasn't a bum.
