Elvis Presley - Don't (Guitar Instrumental Version played by Chris Hampton)

- Here is my instrumental cover of "Don't" which was recorded in 1958 by the legendary singer Elvis Presley. It was written by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller and was Presley's eleventh number one hit in the United States. "Don't" also peaked at number four on the R&B charts. Billboard ranked the ballad as the No. 3 song for 1958.
I played this using my Fender Stratocaster (Bridge Pickup) and the Zoom G2.1Nu with Echoes From The Past (EFTP Patch A9). Recording was done via USB to my home PC with Cubase.
The backing track was from Karaoke Version and is based on the recording with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra as featured on the 2016 album "The Wonder Of You". It is available for purchase here - www.karaoke-ve...

First heard it played and sung by David Gilmour of Pink Floyd at a tribute concert to Lieber & Stoller in 2001. Loved playing this arrangement, more will be coming soon. Hope you're well
