Just came back from the New Elvis movie tonight. It’s a Must See!! The way people used this man and the stuff they made him do. Was a true tragedy. How you can feel so much hurt and happiness for one man.

No. He would have had to get another manager but Elvis was on top already.I'd like to think he would have done just fine. Especially doing more dramatic movies. Going to Europe and performing as he wanted.. only thing, Col. would have wanted his 8 mil. That list he made for EP to pay up before Elvis wanted him to go. He had this charm that made most of the other artists seem sort of bland, they could be extremely talented but they had nothing on Elvis! What a legend, no wonder about 60 years later the world still falls in love with him 💕

There were officials from the FCC in the wings waiting to arrest somebody while the show was on the air. Don't forget that Jerry Lee's first network TV appearance was on Steve Allen's show, and Allen gave Lewis free reign to tear the joint up.

I don't think this show was embarrassing. He rebelled against the suit with his blue suede shoes and let's be honest. Elvis made any suit look good. I know he stole hearts with this performance
