When I saw this I was not expecting it to be so good with an awesome twist ending, congrats to the director. I also loved Roddy's performance in it, he always did so well. This movie is now one of my new favorite thrillers. I just wish I had it on DVD.

I just watched the move can anyone give an explanation for jacks reaction to her asking if she was gone and he said yes ? If it was never Peyton how can jack mention her multiple times and even in the end say he needs more information on Peyton NORas roommate?!?

i just watched it and i absolutely loved it! but i am really confused, i understand she had a split personalityor alter ego or whatever.. but then there was the photo at the h
end of both peyton and nora?? wth then she is asking jack if they caught her.. did they catch peyton she says.. but when she looks in the mirror she see's peyton in the reflection.. i think i need a play by play ... otherwise it was beautifully done, great cast and even better acting. thanks for sharing

+Shyanne Whoolery i might be completly wrong but my take on this movie is when she got raped and molested by eddy when she was a child thats why she ad 2 personalities payton was her but stronger she was what nora wasnt inside her own head. the picture at the end we saw paigton and nora cus of the 3 d camera remember wen she said u can make a third image that what that picture was i think only nora could see it and the copper said he got her to humour her so he didnt panic her he new she was ill

nora has double personality or something like that. She had all that problems when she was young, so when she arrived in town she needed someone to protect her. She brought back peyton (her alterego) from her childhood, the only person that protected her back then, but it was nora all the way. So she killed the old guy and hurt/killed the doctor barnes

I've been trying to find out where the movie was filmed. The roommate goes to UCSan Diego, but the town in movie is up in the mountains cuz of the pines and snow, etc. Trying to figure out if it's around Big Bear or mountains above SD. Anyone happen to know?
It was shot in Idyllwild, California.
OK, so it is in the eastern mountain area of Southern CA. The town looks charming, similar to where I live in the mountain retreat area of Twain Harte, CA. Thank you William!
