No comparison between these two I think…Their styles are so obviously different that you can barely set a criteria to value their work. Even if they play the same piece, there are just two different understandings towards that piece.

One is artist, conveys feelings and emotion through music. One is circus player to excite poeple for a wow through drama show..
He also plays the music to a very high standard. Dont let the antics destract your ears.

Such an inappropriate remark I have not heard before. Only perhaps from people who do not understand about the relationship between music and its performance. In the Far East, no matter how excellent musicians are technically and they all are, they have to have special training in the West to learn how to translate their emotions into their performance if they want to make an international carreer. The necessity for this training is deeply rooted in the Far Eastern culture in families and society. I would strongly recommend you to watch for example "The Korean music mystery" documentary film. Without this kind of training, in a competition you end up with musicians who look the same and play the same.
Until Lang Lang recorded his Chopin piano concertos No.1 and 2 and I had the pleasure to listen to them live, I also thought he was more of a performer.
His latest Bach Goldberg variations is a masterpiece performance. To improve it even more he took a long trip to former East Germany to trace the life of Bach step by step.
I respect this man also for his support of young musicians, especially children.
So we let him express himself, the way he wants and sees fit I think.

Yundi's Chopin & Lang's Liszt. Yuja Wang beats them both. She is more versatile, virtuosic, and musical. 🤤

这种视频下很多吹李的都是他内地的和港台的华人粉丝，也只有他们这年月了还会关注他俩的对比。国外的确实不知道，因为李云迪早好久没消息了。
