The Victrix Pro bfg is a great controller for fighting games because it is very customizable. The Hori fighting commander octa is also a great controller for fighting games since it features 6 face buttons made for fighting. nothing beats the standard ps4 or ps5 controllers. pro players use these controllers in tournaments and it does the job!

Just want to point out that while I am a Victrix Pro User myself, most of the big LAN tournaments and such will not allow the use of the back paddle buttons, similar to how a hit box can only have so many buttons, same with the victrix. From what I’m aware you can use the fight pad module as well as the left bumper/trigger like a normal controller
Ps4 controller >ps5 for fighting games
Used the Hori Fighting commander and it’s halfway decent, good for the price. I’ve only heard terrible things about the durability of the victrix
"Big f*cking gun" is the word "BFG", but complete
me using the back paddles for Ken’s quick dash and down triangle for a wall carry combo

As a owner of the hori controller its rough to use training mode with sertain buttons mapped
Victrix is an amazing controller, only wish they would make a model with out the back buttons cuz I use it for fighting games and it’s annoying. How ever you can disable them only on pc though so ps5 players are screwed

The standard PS4 pad is serviceable. The PS5 pad is less so. The Hori fight commander octa was made for fighting games specifically. And for its price, it is a capable controller. The Victrix pro is an all around premium controller. Modular and comfortable, but very pricy for a pad. If you just want a controller for fighting games, stay away from this one.
i got through ps4 controllers constantly the d pad just starts getting shit anyone has a better option
That Victrix the more time goes on , between the wireless connection and rear buttons is not tournament credible . Maybe if you woke up on a Saturday morning and wanted to iron out a few third strike matches from bed. But any fight pad with “ motors “ inside of it does not excite me what so ever
The base dual sense is terrible for fighting games its notoriously bad in the fighting game community
Ps4 is best and budget for the fighting game.... I play tekken and i love how good the separate dpad layout, its make my ewgf more precise and easier.
I need a clicky dpad like in the xbox on playstation
Got all layouts but the hori. Dualshock 4 > Victrix > Dualsense. Granted my dualsense isnt really a dualsense, its 1 to 1 on shape and size. Its cool, but doesnt feel as great on fighters.
How does an Xbox one controller fair against a ps4 controller when it comes to fighting games? Would it be just the same?
