You probably didn't know this, but BMW actually didn't start out as an automotive company, they started by making plane engines. As the years went by, BMW would progress as a company and start competing with big names like Mercedes Benz. Fast forward to now, and BMW is a staple in the car market and continues to make amazing performance and luxury vehicles, but the real question is, why do BMW’s get so much hate? What do you think of BMW’s? Let us know!

So much that I love cars, I would own some precious horse. It's just, when I am rich, that is.
I have E36 from 1991/ M40 engien 115HP with K&N sport filter, its been almost 13years when i boght it still works with no problems at next year it will be retro car the price is getting hair ...!I am glad that i mount LPG system with this new EU fucked up laws for the old cars ...!FUCK HATERS ..
I really don’t like bmws at all this except the 1m & m2 & the nostalgic stuff of course

Owning and driving a BMW is like having a sensitive smoking hot girlfriend that you’re always afraid to disappoint so you don’t talk to her or interact with her in any manner. You just peak at her around a corner just to get a glimpse all while hoping that she doesn’t see you because if she does she will completely fall apart, take all your money, and leave you unable to ever move on because you are not financially able to and you’re addicted to that kind of crazy, unreliable girl. This is what it is like owning a BMW. -Guy who has owned a 5281, 330i, 335i, and a 335is
Your comment is litterally every BMW after the E46
@@fuckngreat8955 Also the worse one of each. I mean, if you going to get a 3 series and complaining about maintenance, then why not get the 328i? I know they have issues too, but not like those.
im not hating on newer BMW's but reliability did go down after the E46,

You can tell me at least 20+ things that have actually made it break down/left you stranded
You're saying its around 10x every year so it should be easy to tell me exactly what happened, how/when it happened, what the mileage is at the moment and what caused it to break
And most importantly, Did you use OEM parts or the cheapest parts you could find?

I work on bimmers everyday at the dealership, great to drive and work on. One thing I can say is do your maintenance and fix the leaks before it ends up being a big repair.
100% true
My 330i precious horse's fuel pump died the other day while I was on the highway and I was pissed at first but then burst laughing because I realised I was living the meme.
This some shit I’d do 😂
i do the same 🤣🤣🤣
This is a legendary episode. From now on if I hear someone call a BMW a precious horse, I'll know Fitment Industries sent them.
I learned all my DIY mechanics on my 330ci cabrio. You'll soon find a way to learn and repair so we don't get ripped off. Not everything but most can be done by a decent home mechanic.
I'm a CZcams Certified mechanic so when I got my first BMW (E46 Touring) I didn't have the confidence in myself to do any work to it. So to the shop it went while getting raped by their prices because "but it's a BMW" tax. Finally decided I'll do the work myself and many things turned out to be easier to fix than other cars I've worked on. The thing about BMW's is you spend more time taking off parts to get to what needs to be repaired rather than the time it takes to do the actual repair. Now have an E92 335 N54 and have vowed BMW will always be present in my family. Truly is the ultimate driving machine
I work as a BMW mechanic everything you say is absolutely true.
I also do indeed love my E46 touring
@@MrJamesshipman I absolutely regret selling my Touring. The only thing I can feel somewhat ok about is that it went to an older man who's a BMW enthusiast. I visited him about a month later and he had really done a lot of work to the car. Almost looked showroom condition. Those Tourings are getting harder and harder to find. Keep yours for life.
Lol wtf this is me. Same story except the 335i. Still daily my e46 touring
Same with me too except my e46 wasn’t a touring 😞 and I have an e92 n54 with xdrive
I couldn't agree more! The day I bought my first BMW was the day I decided to become an at home mechanic. Between working on my N54 powered 135i and 335i myself and purchasing maintenence parts from fcpeuro.com with their incredible "lifetime warranty" on all parts they sell, owning a BMW is honestly cheaper than most other cars I have owned. Even with the slightly increased maintenence requirements. And like you said it is damn hard to match the driving experience offered by these cars.
It was summer. I was 9. My dad brought me on an event with collector's cars. Countaches 911s gtos and many more. Among them i saw her. That boxy deaign those lines. I told my dad can i get a pic in this car pleaaaase! He asked the owner and let me in. That day i fell in love. The 1st day i witnessed the legendary M3 e30. I started drawing to learn how to draw e30s. I realised i liked the humble non m3 design even more that the m3. And i said one day a beauty like this will be mine. 2 days ago i purchased one. Hasnt arrived yet. I cant sleep at nights waiting to ride that legend. You may have a faster car.(u probably do) You may have a more expensive car. (And again...) BUT NO CREATURE ON THIS DAMN EARTH is happier than me buying and having that car.
Happy for u man, really hope your enjoying the new whip 👌🏽
I actually have 2 “ precious horses” and absolutely love them. There is something special about the way the ride, handle, and drive. I am blessed to be able to maintain and own these cars. After decades of shitty cars, I’ll never own anything but a BMW again.
Same here bro. I love my new f80 m3... 5th bmw so far.
Wise you are

Same here 540i now drove 150 k km on a diesel it didnt fucking flynch and it was tuned. Ditched it at 212000 km
Prev drivr was a 2013 f30 320d
I am a BMW driver (e36 coupe), and I love that car. Very reliable engine (when maintained). In the 90's there weren't that many electrical parts, and therefor no issues. All the trouble comes with the models after 2000. The parts are a bit more expensive than some other cars, but that ain't an issue for the ones who appreciate them old BMWs. Driving my low e36 just makes me smile.
Yes, I would own a Precious horse. I've been to about 4 or 5 of the Ultimate driving experience events and I have not been disappointed. The brand does a terrific job of letting people have access to their cars. At every event they have the autocross portion that they stage as a competition with the top lap times having a chance to go to California to compete. Also with the test drives they let you get a feel for the car for yourself with no salesman or authority figure to supervise while you drive on the public streets. It's these reasons why I see myself owning a BMW when I get a house and a bunch of $$$ saved up.
Honestly, I didn't really understand BMW fanatics until I bought one just because I wanted RWD. Since then, I bough 3 more, had my highs and lows, but my current e36 carried me over 50k kms with zero problems so I guess it's all good now
my 6spd e91 precious horse has been nothing less than the most enjoyable money pit ever lmao
my blown up fern green e46 is the best money pit ever lmao
Well said lmao as is my e30 😂

My e90 is the best waste of money that’s in the shop 25 weeks a year
BMW stands for 'borsten moeten wiebelen' which means 'breasts must wiggle'
No it stands for “blacka man waggie”
Nah just big man waterloo
Black Man Wagon
I will forever call my bmw a precious horse
"Merce deez nuts" bruh that had me dead lol
I think we need to address the elephants in the room, their recent "OK boomer" tweet, and the M3/M4 "lung" grilles. Those things just helped to fuel the fire of hatred people have for the brand.
Lol LUNG GRILLS
Even with it's lung grille the car is ver refined and a very good performance. Although I hate the size of the grille and the upper weird ass looks and angles it gives it very sinister look if you saw it from a 3/4 and focused between the grille and the headlight.
I have a love affair for BMW vehicles but the company is a bunch of jerks. And it's not just the okay Boomer thing they've been jerk since the 90s. They have been actively trying to block repair information for decades.
I mean, OK Boomer is a social movement and if you get offended by it, you're probably part of the problem and/or a boomer.
Learn how to pronounce BMW, “Precious Horse”
Owning this precious horse had made me understand abusive relationships. She constantly breaks but I still love her
She keeps you hostage, dude. Stockholm syndrome 😆

It’s a love hate relationship with my n54 horse. Sometimes I want to drive her into a lake but I also know I would stay at the bottom of that lake with her 😂

I’ve been struggling with my EGO ever since I purchased my 2016 M235i red convertible, 3 weeks ago. It’s not my fault, people keep telling me how awesome my car is. I can’t even imagine how hard it is for new BMW owners.

As an OG American Car and Driver/NFSU2 car geek BMW's didn't even exist to me until I owned one and to this day I don't know why I did that move but let me tell you I'm dang glad I did. 98 328ci (auto :'( ). Even for a pretty "basic" 90's Beemer this thing was for one put together like a tank, the door panels of en e36 are all you need to feel to understand what I mean here. And for 2 screw AWD this thing never got stuck even in the midst of Midwestern winter and I swear I looked like Ken Block every time I'd see some nice snow ahead. Take it or leave it, with my limited experience I f****ing love these german precious horses, older ones at least. Thank you

I used to own an 2005 E36 M3 that I put over 200K miles on it. The car was very reliable and the only item I had replace outside of routine maintenance was the water pump and radiator at 146K miles. When I sold it , it still ran well. The only reason I sold it was that one year I calculated my ownership expenses, and I had spent $3300 in maintenance with $1400 being in tires alone.... which needed replacement annually because I was averaging 18K miles a year. E36 were really reliable, but now they are over 20 years old....
I get so annoyed, everyone wants to race me at stop lights. Bro I’m not racing your Kia or your financed Hyundai 😂

Never Thought I'd Own A Bimmer Now I Slick Love My e46
I love my F30 328i. Great mileage, comfortable, looks good, and it's pretty quick for a 4 banger. Had it for just under a year now and have had no issues whatsoever. I'm even the third owner.
The script today was something else haha real fire, good job on writing and delivery!
you ARE better than everyone else when you driving a bmw.
So glad Most Wanted introduced me to this brand, just hope I can get my GTR back.
I dont get the BMW is unreliable yet I still see tons of e36s to e46s everyday. These cars are over 20+ years old now and have withstood the testament of time and reliability...all issues that start off comes down to oil changes etc. My e46 has 218k miles and still going strong...

Yes I am a two steppin equestrian. My turbo 89 325is was in great condition and with suspension and good tires with a little over 300 hp/ torque and a lsd it was SO good but after getting rid of it in 2011 I was always looking for another e30. Too bad they’re either trashed or taxed (yes it was a broken/badass mix that looked almost new in cirrusblua). I tried others like a new 15 WRX and my tuned mk7 golf R (nice) but here I am back in a 2020 bmw m2 comp . I really like it and I know this is hard to believe but the only thing I had that handled this good was the e30. Although nothing beat the R from a dead stop turn.
Owning a 2002 e46 was definitely an experience as I had only owned american cars before that. If I got a better base not one that had 145k miles and a 330i instead of the 325 I'm sure I would still have it but its still on the list to jump to the M3 purely because of how well designed that car was.
