It was a fun machine and I enjoyed it for over a year. I actually traded it for a 59 pan head.

I only get concerned if there is several nails !! One nail is not a concern !! Hahahaha

Hay just a heads up. Your going to have to locate a macanical brake wheel puller . Or you'll never get those wheels broke free of the long keyed taper on the axles . I sprayed and heated mine for 2 years before I learned that heard fact . The hubs have a fine thread that the puller screws on too .without that tool it's impossible to get them off . You don't want to bend those hub flanges because servi car hubs are not reproduced, and are rarer then hens teeth These days. Good luck .

@Hobson's Choice Harleys I think that might be a tall order. Mine is home made based on a factory tool they haven't used since 57 . Only thing I can think of is Throttle Masters in Chicago or 45 restoration
Otherwise will have to work out some way for you to borrow mine .

Yea I'm interested to see the rear brake lay out. Does it have an E-brake and how that is actuated thanks man.
It’s all mechanical brakes , front and rear , there is a ratcheting style e brake at the pedal for rear braking

Don't think that bracket on the front crossbar does anything, have the same one on my '46 Servi.
As far as the tapered rear wheels...they can be one. Bought the puller recommended (junk) return. Made one...no go. One of my dads old riding buddies stopped by, get me a large mallet he says. He wacks the tire and the wheel falls right off. Guess some day I'll be that old guy.

12v.. elec start & kick .. hyd rear brakes..
i need a stock telescopic front end if you have .. with turn digs & damper
rear Brakes same as willys 47-63
Those are juice brakes ,big difference

@Frank Further I've never heard of that Willis/Harley thing .if that is true it would have to be later hydraulic brakes 57 to 73 . I believe Machanical brakes have not been used on cars since the model T in the 20s . Servi cars have a 14 inch drum that barely stops it much less a jeep or a car .

I just ordered a rear master cylinder from a jeep website for my '53 Servi. It looked similar but had a different bolt pattern. Had to send it back.

@@2ndborn186 dude it is 74 years old , if anyone wants to whine about a difference of a couple years on a motorcycle that’s 7 decades old than they got too much time on their hands , it can reflect on me ! I’m a big boy !!
