Loved this show, Wayne Carini I believe still has the record as shortest reality show host since records begun.
100% a 1916 Harley. 1915 had the paddle start 3 speed gearbox and the flat side tanks. This is a 1916 with the 3 speed kick start gearbox, round sided tanks and bolt on rear fender piece. The best give away is the engine numbers, M is for 1916 and K is for 1915
Good info!
you are 100% right. M is a 16. K is a 15
Lol i know right? These tv show hosts dont know anything
Should be more of this on tv 🏴
Very good video and I gave you a thumbs up.
For a collector that bike will be a holy grail of motorcycles
That is cool . i would put that in my living room.
Those old teens harleys are so cool because they don't make stuff like that anymore.
Everythinh is better now
Matt Walksler would have walked in there and told you everything there is to know about that bike.
Yes the civilian versions were grey, they were known as "The silent grey fellow".
This poor guy is gonna get screwed out of grandpas motorcycle.
Look at the engine code to see the year of the bike ?
Honestly I would have had a reserve and never sold that bike for that cheap. I would love to see what the buyer has done to it and how he is using it. He said he wasn’t going to restore it but use it
Good
How much he did for for this?
1914 was 1st year 2 speed
as it's green, the "M" might be for "military" as at the time it was about to be used for WW1
M stands for 16. K was 15. Its a 1916 not a military
Well, what happened to it? Nugget for sure.
I'd say a fair deal would be that the Grand son pays the appraiser $100 to dispose of it.
I agree, that old thinf is a piece of junk
A 100 year old military Harley that could have seen use in WW1? And you call it a piece of junk? Wow, you obviously don't know what kind of historical significance this mostly complete bike holds. It is all there other than the rotted tire and the muffler he found at the end.
@@BFKAnthony817 of course now it is a piece of junk, I say if it was refurbished then it'll be cool as hell
@ Apparently but wonders why?
@@namaske2594 ...You NEVER restore an original like that.
It always gets in the wrong hands of the right family member to lose it forever. Great share of greed.
this carini guy is only passionate about the $
Stored in the cold and damp? OMG! He ruined it!
If you think this is a military bike you don't know your butt from your elbow.Mitltary and road were produced in the same color. One was gloss, one was not.Up to 1917 That was true.
m means motorcycle lol
Sell it back to the military they have money to blow.
Stick with your cars “ your better off “ Harley’s are for men of honor ! Not for the peewee Herman” type 😂😂😂
Sorry Wayne.. stick to Cars...(I am only joking) I think the two REAL DEAL experts are Keenan Tatro from "Tatro Machine" and Todd, the guy from The CZcams channel "Hunting Harleys"
Todd is the man. He needs a show. No we need him to have a show
I will ride Honda Hornet 919 with 108 HP, and you, guys, ride this junk.
OK Sir thanks for the comment
