How did you burn on the side center of the hat?
Did I miss how you got it to engrave up the side?
Same. Maybe they folded the brim down so it was flat from the side at that one point?…

Amazing! We have an art center here that is offering classes for this, but of course, hand burning! Mine would end up looking like a 2 year old scribbled on it! 😂 CAN you burn directly on the black or would nothing show up? Maybe just end up looking like a water mark or something I'm wondering?!

How to did you engrave on the top side of the hat?
Does the black show any color if you burn the outside?
To do the tops in 1 shot flip the hat inside out which isn't hard with felt. You may need a steamer to soften it a little. They are easy to reshape
Any thoughts on doing it with the polar? :)

Can a diode laser engrave on the hats ?
I think maybe it cut through that black hat brim......
If one is going to sell and claim their hats as a "HANDMADE" item during craft shows I see this as a SCAM to the customer. This is now machined artwork. Will to have to sell 1000's of dollars to make up the cost of a 10K laser machine and I don't see the ROI on this investment.
Not gonna lie, this is like me forcing my wife to do creative s**t she has zero interest in… there are still a ton of cool tips from these videos, but they cringe me like no other.
