Great review! I appreciate the honesty at the end! 👍🏼👍🏼🤗
You are literally the best bri! 🙏
@@ChichBolt you're very welcome! =)
The wear of the soul is normal for this type of shoe in "off terrain". I would be wearing a different shoe for anything requiring more than normal grip. And like all of the Allbirds shoes the wool insert will conform to your foot and not feel as supportive so they need to be replaced periodically. Good review though and convinced me to buy these.
Are the Mizzles warmer than, or comparable to, the Wool Runners, especially in the summer? I'm looking at getting a new pair, and I'm hesitating between getting another pair of Tree Runners for now and then Mizzles in the fall, or simply just get a pair of Mizzles right now.
This is a great question! I felt the same way. I wore my mizzles in the summer without much of any problems regarding being hot. It’s the magic of Marino wool where you are warm when you need to be but it breathes as well. I dont think you will regret the mizzles especially so close to when the weather will start to cool. :)
@@ChichBolt That's good to hear. I was wondering if the waterproofing might make them less breathable/more insulated. But that doesn't appear to be the case.
@@wizard217 Somewhat but not enough to make a difference in this type situation
Do you recommend these for a work restaurant kitchen setting that has wet floors?… my problem is my work shoes are not water repellent and they get wet when we wash the floors and then they get cold when wet. So I was interested in these since they look warm and water repellent
Yes I think they will keep your feet warm and dry for the most part but when it comes to non slip it’s a toss up. I wore these a lot while working in a coffee shop as a barista and had my fair share of wet floors, I don’t remember slipping but them not being officially non slip would be my only worry.
@@ChichBolt Okay. Thanks so much!
Dang, might have to get myself some of those.
Hey you’ve got yo answer one of these phone calls buddy
@chichbolt
Can you style these with shorts? Random ques I know...
Hi I have one question about the shoes. How is the waterproofness holding up?
so the waterproofness seems to stay around even after a few washes! :)
@@ChichBolt thank you for the reply!
My thinking was 40p a day for 1 year is a good investment
That’s an easy way to spend money! Haha
Are they still highly water repellent? Do they need treatments to stay that way? Is the 25mm mud guard overlay on the plus version necessary?
Since they are a wool shoe they repell against rain but not necessarily puddles or submersion anymore. Luckily they just released a new version with a things coating, I hope to test them out soon.
@@ChichBolt The plus version?
Yes 🙌
@@ChichBolt Might go for that as a dedicated winter shoe
I’m thinking the same
Great review! Here's a simple question.
I am just about to fall in love with allbirds. But I am confused to choose between wool runner and wool runner mizzle.
I would wear them when commuting to the office, and wouldn't wear when running.
In this case, what would you recommend me to pick between these two types.
Thanks in advance!
I think that they’d both be really fitting for you.. if you are going to be walking around in a lot of snow or wet environments I would recommend getting the mizzles. But either way I think I would just pick up the ones that you think fits your style the most. Thank you for watching I hope you love them :)
@@ChichBolt Thanks for your answer :-)
Have you ever worn a pair of Adidas Ultraboosts? those are the most comfy out there and im curious to see how they compare in comfort...
I would say the allbirds are a lot more comfortable after wearing both for walking for long periods of time
I have to agree with Andre, Ultra boosts definitely have a place in the comfort shoes world but I thing the materials that Allbirds shoes are made of makes them some of the most comfortable shoes out there. I’d say the biggest difference is that they are made of wool instead of plastics and knits. You should try out a pair, they have a 30 day return policy.
@@ChichBolt i have had mine now for 2 weeks and i love them. NOT as comfy as ultraboost 3.0 all terrains, BUT i love the wool and the look so i can wear them to work, and keep my feet way warmer and dry. They def get the win over ultraboost for overall daily use. :)
That’s amazing! ⚡️ I’m so glad you enjoy them!
I think you were unlucky with the sole. My tree toppers haven’t had any chips out of them after 3 years, I’ve worn the tread off them though but they’re still super comfy and have their shape
yes some people use shoes more roughly. or may be accidentlly if we struck with something then our shoes can be worn out. I just got my all birds wool runner today and loving it already.
Excellent! I hope you enjoy them!!
I definitely don’t believe everyone will run into that issue but I had to add it to my review because it happened 🙏
