    I love stinging nettles and have made it for quite a while. Its very safe! Last year I had a large grove of it and just wear gloves when cutting it! Thank you Doc Jones for your wonderful information!

    In your video you give us 4 plants to use, one of them being Oregon Grape Root, but I see that your Histimine products in your shop doesn't have Oregon Grape Root, but has Burdock in it instead. Is there a reason you went with Oregon Grape for the video or are they interchangeable?

    • @dwfootzoning
      @dwfootzoning Před rokem +3

      Oregon grape is a cholagogue-moves bile and detoxes the liver-and burdock root is a liver tonic. When you support the liver, you are able to process histamines faster.

    I've had great success so far with burdock root, cleavers, lemons, and vinegar for allergies. I did some digging and found that rosemary may help decrese allergies as well!

    • @dwfootzoning
      @dwfootzoning Před 5 měsíci +1

      @@Ytdeletesallmycomments guess it depends on the product and resource. ACV Is effective and natural lemon juice with its high antioxidants and Vit C content, can eliminate histamines.

    When treating allergies is it a better idea to find local plants from your area or are the general properties all about the same? Also how do you compare the plants to find the local ones that can help?

    I found Brigham’s Tea seedlings at my local nursery so I planted them in my garden. Unfortunately they grow so slowly that I would hate to harvest any of them for medicine. I think that I would have better luck foraging in the desert for larger plants in higher quantities. Do you have any suggestions for foraging for this plant?

    QUESTION: What herb(s) can you take in place of statins?

    • @kleineroteHex
      @kleineroteHex Před rokem

      Why do you need statins? Yes, I know, they tell you your cholesterol is too high, but why is it high? Work on that . Dr Sten Ekberg has a wonderful video, just add his name and cholesterol in the search and be amazed.

    • @livvydays8545
      @livvydays8545 Před rokem

      I'm not sure what herbs can lower cholesterol to replace your statins but make sure your doctors orders the correct test. The advanced lipid profile test will measure what you need to know. Otherwise you may be trying to lower a perfectly normal cholesterol level. You may already know about it but I just learned it recently so just passing the info on. I will send a good link explaining it.

    My dogs are having an awful time with itching and scratching. One has her rear end almost bare from biting, and my other dog has patches of hair gone because he bites and scratches, and his skin is red. HELP!!😮

    • @marilyn5208
      @marilyn5208 Před rokem +1

      Give your dog a teaspoon to tablespoon of active culture yogurt, depending on size, daily. It helps.

    • @realrasher
      @realrasher Před rokem +2

      We apply coconut oil on our dog when she has itching symptoms. Sometimes multiple times a day until it calms down.
      When we suspect fleas or mites, we add a clove of raw garlic (crushed into a paste) with a few tablespoons of broth to her food once or twice over a few days. Adding some turmeric powder can help with inflammation too.
      These things have worked out great for the 8 years of her life. She is a Jack Russell weighing about 30 lbs.
