I know Halloween is still a week away, but I think it's as a good a time as any to start getting in the mood!
For today's video, we have a spooky edition of my 50 kpop songs in 5 minutes series, focusing specifically on spooky kpop songs to get you in the halloween spirit.
There's so many songs I could have included here, it really could have been 100 kpop songs in 10 minutes, but I thought we'd try and stick to theme!
I think one of my favourite things about holidays such as Halloween is the music, and I especially love spooky halloween kpop songs, so I just had to share them!
Like I mentioned in the video, these aren't all necessarily Halloween songs - some of them are - but others are just songs that more give me a spooky vibe, hopefully that makes sense and you'll see what I mean in the video!
And also, there will be a few repeated groups in here, I'm sorry I do normally try to stray away from doing that in my 50 kpop songs in 5 minutes playlist, but I really struggled doing that with today's videos bc some artists are literally the kings and queens of spooky kpop concepts you need to see! Call it a bit of a kpop halloween party playlist if you will.

It's just too funny that half of this groups debuted with a cute concept but somehow ended up being kings and queens of darkness
I love that omg the duality ahah
I wish groups of 4th generation make bold horror concepts like they did in early 2010s. Sadly the difference between old and new groups is too visible. Dark concept mean chopping best parts of members, turning themselves into voodoo dolls, being tortured by their second persona, shit ton of vampire& werewolf fantasies, turning into a violent demon etc. for older groups. While most new groups call it a dark concept when they dim the lights and wear black clothes instead of colourful sweats. There are some groups who try their best like golden child having zombies or doing movie like mvs once in a while, txt and enhypen trying darkish concepts or verivery getting darker in each concept but I really want to see new groups are trying concepts like vixx voodoo, hyde or cross gene black or white.
Yeah that's a really good point! I wonder why what's classed as a 'darker concept' nowadays isnt necessarily actually dark 🤔 like what happened for that to happen
Love that you included Nature's Girls and also Dreamcatcher's Scream. It's funny that they both originally debuted with a cute concept. Videos that also could've been included are G-Reyish's Blood Night and Lovelyz's Obliviate. I love when you do these lists, it helps me add to my ongoing playlists.

Full Moon by Sunmi would fit too. Both the lyrics and mv have a vampire concept.
Enhypen also have a vampire concept especially in their songs Given- Taken and Drunk-Dazed.

@@dearyoongi its like top 3 favourite clc songs i get promotions were rushed and the mv was lower budget but i still loved it and was sad clc never went to "its live" because devil with a horn band would be amazing
