- Thank you for joining me today for this 20 minute guided meditation practice to cultivate compassion for yourself and others.
The definition of compassion according to the Merriam Webster dictionary is the sympathetic consciousness of others' distress together with a desire to alleviate it.

Breathe deeply, connect with the feelings of your heart, and build compassion.
Just like me, everyone is seeking happiness. May we all find the happiness we are seeking.
Just like me, everyone is protecting themselves from suffering. May we all be brave and strong enough to make space for our suffering.
Just like me, everyone has known sadness. May we all experience love and joy to balance the sadness.
Just like me, everyone is doing the best they can. May we all offer compassion to ourselves and others. May we all accept compassion from ourselves and others.

Omg the best meditation I have ever done. I didn't even realise that 20 minutes had passed. The only meditation I lost track of time and didn't check how much was left because I was lowkey bored like in other videos.Also the only one that I have cried to.Thank you💕

I felt compassion given to me in this special season we are celebrating Passover. And i thought that I will be celebrating alone with my husband, but a cousin asked us and invite us to celebrate with their family, so this make us feel full of Joy and Happiness.

I feel we struggle to give compassion to others as we struggle to give compassion to self. The best compassion present i had from my supervisor is that he notice the progress I make and very time I struggle with something he points out how much I have improved in 1y and that makes me so grateful and feel a great warmth. thank for this meditation session , May you have peace and love always in your heart

That was beautiful, Sarah, compassion is such a strong feeling and during this meditation the sense of connectedness was also clearly tangible. A sibling of mine is going through tough times right now and being with him in thought and consciousness helps to offer him energy. We are going through tough times collectively, sharing our hearts and minds to support each other is one of the things we can do in meditation.
I had an emotional reaction to this, especially the earlier part about being compassionate towards oneself. Thanks, I feel this is important guidance for me.

I give myself and others non-judgmental listening and take time to understand the parts of self that are eagerly repressed. Cultivating compassion has guided me to self healing. I was able to forgive myself for the robbing of God's Grace from a spirit, through abortion. Through this compassion of self forgiveness , I was able to name that aborted child.
