  • It's high-time for another catchup with the workshop full of delights! Fresh from it's excursions on The Grand Tour's 'Carnage a Trois' special, a lovely Citroën SM, previously owned and restored by Mike Brewer (he of Wheeler Dealers fame) has arrived in the workshop, ready for the attention of Iain and his team. Thankfully it looks to have escaped any harm at the hands of Hammond and Clarkson!
Iain takes us on a whistle-stop tour of the workshop, from one classical delight to another, catching up on restoration projects covered previously along with a handful of new arrivals, including Harry Metcalfe's Espada which is back for some work now the engine has been run in. Join Iain on a road-test to see how those new forged pistons are bedding in to the Lamborghini V12.

Interesting and beautifully presented as always Iain. The Espada is to die for.
May I wish you, your family and staff a very good Christmas, and a prosperous video filled 2022 😀
    Cheers, Bob

Iain, I am subscribed & enjoyed the variety of this video. As a Mercedes-Benz owner-driver I've enjoyed the previous M-B videos you've done & would enjoy seeing more, as I'm sure other M-B enthusiasts would. :)

I love the American muscle cars like the Challenger you had on recently, but everyone of these beauties in your shop are a work of art!

Thank you very much Ian for continuing to provide inspiring, considered and informative content, without need for tacky gimmicks or horrendous acting. I would love for you to do a feature on our Australian exotic the "Holden Hurricane", maybe GMSV/Holden top brass could whisk you to Melbourne to "tune it". Seriously love your professionalism and vibe. Kind Regards, Rob

The maroon looked nice on the 350GT, but that blue is spectacular. Well done

You are working on a wonderful array of cars and are so fortunate to be able to enjoy your business so much. Although the Miura is my all-time favourite car I particularly look forward to watching your Citroen SM report. Your channel and Harry’s are the two best on CZcams and long may you both prosper. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

I too owe Harry a big thank you. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be here now.

You and Harry are my only regular stops; keep up the good work. Like Barry [below] I love the history and origins of each wonderful car in your care, but I really enjoy seeing the work happen. The Miura metal work and the Espada engine work was ...riveting, as was the Lagonda story. Can't wait for the Jensen and Citroën works. Happy Christmas.

It just struck me - how lucky we, the bunch interested in classic Italian - and American, and German, and British - and even French - automotive experience are, as the owner of this channel is not only a complete encyclopedia of data on these cars - but is also easy and pleasant to listen to, in other words - is a surprisingly decent journalist. Greetings from Latvia, happy New Year - and keep on beating on these old metals, and for god's sake - sharing it with us.
