Russian tanks: Flying turrets
American tanks: BBQ
most of the time american crewmen or foreign crewmen wouldn't get incinerated 😘🥰
Nice.

No, the blow-out panels did not save this tank. When the blow-out panels do work, there is a much more concentrated stream (or two streams) of fire going upwards from the back of the turret. Here the entire tank is engulfed in flames. It’s above the entire turret. The crew definitely didn’t survive this.
What too much WT does to a fella...
@@charlesdark2861 Yep… indeed.
@@mystictomato9466 I meant that in that it you seem to believe real life is like War Thunder. This is not at all the case, various environmental factors as well as location of the hit, warhead used, fuel left in the rocket motor at the time of detonation, etc. will change how the blowout panels working looks. In fact, the whole "hurr durr concentrated stream!!!" you see in war thunder is rather uncommon, usually it looks like this. In fact, there's old test footage from the 80s/90s easily available on youtube (just search up "Abrams blowout panel test") which shows the blowout panels working and not looking too different from this.
If the blowout panels didn't work for whatever reason, the hatches would likely have had their locks broken and been forced open by the pressure, which is a much more common effect to see than concentrated streams from a flash fire.

Rt* but yes lol
Hey man do you have a discord by any chance?
Yeah.
Didn’t know Texas was fighting the us
It's fictional. . .
Didn't know Texas looked like a flat Iraqi desert
Who said it took place in Texas proper? remember the T.L.A is a army in exile
There's a difference between the Texas Liberation Army and the Texian guerrillas fighting the American forces in occupied Texas. Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas look more like 1960’s Northern Ireland in this universe trust me.
@@Alexander-Craig0530 I mean I guess this could take place in El Paso or Western Texas since that's where I've been the most but tbf that area isn't just flat sandy desert, it's like Arizona and NM type deserts.
@@opfoca1oparrowmarinerecon154 I worked with footage that i could get. This was the best i could find. it's location is kinda up to you the viewer.
more like Yemen desert
cool
Good video
Its Kornet missle against Abrams tank in Iraq .
org correct
Yeah, I'm calling out this propaganda right now. RT NEVER made this video nor published it... This was Doctor Airsoft editing it...
This is also clearly not Texas.. This is Yemen destroying an M1A2S Abrams Tank with a Soviet Wired Konkurs ATGM.. Regardless, think about it, how would Texas get their hands on a modern system like Kornet? Or even an Iranian unlicensed copy? Also, you don't think the National Guard controls every single port there?
He also covered the Houthis Rebel sign with a TLA sign on the Top Right..
Don't be Sheep, fact check your stuff!! As for you Doctor Airsoft, damn, I didn't think I could lose any more respect for you, but you once again prove me wrong.
@@UkraineWarAwareness ...Oh *GEE* I am fucking sorry that people are literally too idiotic to see that this is clearly fiction and too small minded to read the description of my video that says outright it's from my alt history series.
Sorry but people's sheepish idiocy and inability to spend 5 seconds to read the description is simply not my fault, Its like how today we have to have warning labels telling idiots not to eat plastic.
sorry I like you you're a friend but this is fucking bullshit
@@UkraineWarAwareness And another thing might I fucking add 1 this was not Houthi footage this was ISIS footage and 2 RT *did* in fact post this I should know because I found it and edited it myself, If you want to correct me then do it properly next time and do it politely at least but *NOOO* you decided to be a god damn prick about it.
I already had a shitty day today I don't need this total bullshit from you.

Challenger 2 is better. Change my mind.
The Chally 2 is an amazing tank but def not better. Compared to the M1A2 SEPVs, with a smoothbore gun allowing for more ammunition types and allowing the tank ammunition to be upgraded, trophy APS, hunter-killer systems improving communication and targeting, improved and upgraded computer systems for better joint ops.
The Challenger 2 was meant for war in Europe. It's a perfectely fine tank, but you can't compare it to an Abrams, a tank that's meant to be flexiable enough to be fighting in every corner of the world. So in the end both armored vehicles are good at what they do.
*Challenger 2 is stronger

What destroyed the tank in the original video?
It looked like an RPG, probably an RPG-29, but I'm not sure
In the video, it's an Abrams from the Iraqi Army hit from the behind, the ammo rack goes off, hence all the flame going upwards. The crew probably have minimal burns but I'm sure they have time to escape. The tank isn't destroyed, but it has no ammunition so, it's just a sitting duck with its crew wanting to leave it.
@@opfoca1oparrowmarinerecon154 The tank is burning up. the crew would be burnt to crisp
@@thedoctorairsoft6813 Maybe in your lore you;ve made which is fine, but in real life the Abrams tanks have blowout panels and secure doors that if the ammo storage is hit, it goes up into the blowout panels not into the crew compartment.
These doors protect the crew cabin, and the driver would be fine since he's disconnected from the tank. Yes, some fire could still get in but it'd result in minor burns.
If you want to kill an Abrams, it's very hard since they go in platoons, but the best way is to use ATGMs and strike it frontally. Although beware most modern US Abrams tanks like the SEPV2, SEPV3, and SEPV4 which are the most common variants have Trophy APS capable of intercepting these ATGMs and RPGs.
In the video it shows export M1A1 Abrams tanks given to Iraq.
@@opfoca1oparrowmarinerecon154 I'm not Shure, I saw RPGs destroy modernized syrian t72s and they got fried, the Abrams in the video doesn't have reactive protection as far as I know. But I'm not Shure
@@ftacairsoft9485 It got hit in the ammo storage. Also you can't compare a T-72 to an Abrams in terms of survivablity.
I'm not saying the T-72 is bad at all, but you literally cannot compare it to an Abrams in terms of armor and survivablity. Modernized T-72s have ERA, sure, but it's either KONTAKT or some other ERA that isn't modern.
Abrams tanks will survive RPG rounds frontally depending on what RPG. For example the RPG-29 can penetrate the Abrams frontally but thanks to improved armor and Trophy APS we can't say it can kill it anymore unless they declassify this info.
Hehe blowout panels go burrr.
Lol
No bro, if you watch better, the flames are coming out on the commander cupola, no one survived this...
Is this Iraq army on Islamic state?
No it's the Texas Liberation Army blowing up a imperialist U.S tank duh
Cringe
Yes, M1 Abrams are cringe
Are you racist?
best part is that the crew were almost 100% completely unharmed thanks to blowout panels, all the pressure from the ammunition cooking off went out the top of the turret rather than into the fighting compartment, meaninf it harmed no one.
The only way the crew would've been killed is if they kept the ammunition door open, which evidently didnt happen as the fire would be coming from the hatches rather than the blowout panels.
Are you high?
@@thedoctorairsoft6813 No, are you? All variants of the M1 Abrams, including the downgraded export M1A1 we see in the video, have blowout panels. Most Western tanks have blowout panels in the rear of the turret, such as the Leopard 2, Challenger 2, and even the Ariete. The Russians only recently figured out that blowout panels increase survivability greatly, and only the T-90M and the export T-90MS have been given blowout panels in the rear of the turret.
@@charlesdark2861 we clearly see the tank on fire. No one survived that
@@thedoctorairsoft6813 The blowout panels cause the fire to go out the roof, literally search "M1 Abrams blowout panel" on youtube and you'll get footage of the blowout panels working. The entire crew likely survived.
@@charlesdark2861 I am literally seeing parts of the tank blow off into the air as well as the tank *BURNING*
