I just got a reply, from Alvarez, regarding what kind of glue they use in the construction of their guitars. They use PVA style glue, just like Gibson, Martin and many others. Yes, some of the bigger name guitar companies use protein glue (like fish and animal hide glues) in their more expensive models but for the most part, they use PVA style glue. It's a white wood glue, like TiteBond. From what they are telling me they have been using a more eco friendly brand of PVA glue for the last 5 years too.
I hope this finally puts this to bed. And thank you to all of you who have commented. I do appreciate it.

Yeah I have an ro-328 & feel RK is made to be more Martin like, which is not Bad, I have a Martin DM from from 1996 which sings nicely, but I see to gravitate mostly to my Alvarez MD80 or my Master Works Elite dreadnought with Black walnut back & sides, such lovely guitars, that said I can appreciate both brands for what they are trying to do tonaly. The neck feels incredible. I’m not a beginner but definitely intermediate at best. Picked up Taylor’s Martins Eastwoods, and honestly I like the Alvarez better than any of them. Crazy right? I could have gotten any of the guitars mentioned. Could not find any Gibsons so I took a chance. It truly is a nice guitar for in the 700.00 range. Thanks

Then I will have to do a video comparing those 2 guitars, since they are both made from mahogany.

May I ask if there were any dead notes on your MD60BG when you bought it? I really am wanting to buy this guitar, but there are none that are being carried at any of my local guitar shops. Every single Alvarez that I have played that are offered in the stores here have dead notes. There is also a youtube short from a guy that shows his MD60BG with dead notes all over the fret board and he calls this guitar garbage. Thank you for posting this video...

Mine plays clear all the way up the neck. Sounds to me like the ones you sampled were not set up very well at the music shop.
Make sure they didn't take out all the relief in the neck t too. And check that the nut is cut right and not cut too deep. You should have about .06 to .08 inch of clearance at the 6th fret, with a capo on the 1rst fret and the string held down at the 12th fret or neck to body joint. If there is no relief, you will get buzzing.
Some places just don't check guitars and set them up well before selling any more. They are getting lazy. I'm actually going to be selling my Alvarez since I got my Martin. I may even sell my Recording King RD-328 too. I need to recoup some of the cost of my Martin HD-28V.

@@HayesTech Thank you for replying, HT! And, Congratulations on your Martin! Remember, if I want this Alvarez, it will be a sight-unseen purchase. I have never, in 50 years of playing guitar, bought an acoustic guitar sight unseen. Dead notes on an acoustic can not always be guaranteed a fix with a simple set up. Some times it could cost more than it's worth to get things right, or could have just bought that more expensive guitar that one didn't think they could have afforded in the first place :) Thank you, again!

Well I could never guarentee you wouldn't get a bad guitar, but if purchased from a reputable retailer, there shouldn't be any issues. Ive never encountered dead spots on a guitar before, that wasn't from a bad set-up, so I really can't speak for that, except to say that I've never encountered it. If I were you, I would get one from your local music store and play it first.
