Be careful what you wish for because some cats demand attention more than friendly dogs. They will literally rub on you and not leave. I know this from experience.

As I walked by my old house, she sat calmly, watching politely as I approached. All I said was, "Hey, kitty!" in my ridiculous, high-pitched voice I use toward all cats. She immediately trotted to me meowing, plopped down sideways on my feet and started nuzzling them nonstop. I leaned down to pet her exposed belly. She continued nuzzling my feet, all the while meowing and purring. As I walked along, she followed me, plopping on my feet every time I stopped to pet her. She followed me the whole length of sidewalk in front of her house until I got to the property line where she obediently stopped and watched as I told her bye. Friendliest cat I ever met.🐈
There's a cat that looks exactly like this near our local Tesco. She's there everyday, all day, and a bus stop nearby too. Such a friendly chubby cat :)
If she doesn't have a collar, abduct her and bring her home. Someone will kill her if you don't. Perhaps put a collar on her with a message to call you, and if she actually has owners they will call you and then you can confirm she has an owner and if no one calls after a few days then take her, you'd be most likely saving her from a fate that no cat deserves.
My cat used to lay out in the sidewalk waiting for people to come by and pet him. He loved all the attention he'd get when we had yard-sales. He died 20 years ago, but I still miss him sometimes.
My childhood street had an orange tabby that would do this exact thing. It also would follow you once you stopped petting it but wouldn't go too far from it's house. I always looked forward to petting it after school, I'd stay for at least 5 minutes, (sometimes more but I wouldn't know ☺️).

I find that cats with orange + brown + white color like her, especially if its a female, are always very friendly and cuddly. My parents have one cat with that color right now & they also had another similar colored cat which in my opinion is the most loyal cat I ever met
Yes, this is exactly why I’ve been wanting a Calico cat. They seem to be the most snuggly, friendly, and verbal cats and a little more on the chubby side. They’re so cute!

I once met a friendly cat in the street. A Tuxedo cat he was. I was on my phone when he approached me. He nuzzled his nose against my leg and I gave him a pet. Then my fear of commitment kicked in and I had to abandon him on that side of the street while I crossed to the other. But he was not going to let me go that easy. He crossed the street and started to follow me. I was scared. This is how I'm going to "own'" a cat. The many stories that I saw in the Dodo channel about people befriending cats and ultimately ending up as caretakers. That idea sent a chill up my spine. I like cats. But I'm not ready for this yet. I guided him to a tree nearby and I started walking around it. He started walking around brushing his body against the tree trunk. I took that opportunity to dash off from the scene. While I was making my escape I looked back and saw the cat was stuck to the tree. "Good bye little prince" I muttered to myself, now running out of breath.

She was meowing and I called to her and she came. She let me pet and scratch her while purring and then we continued walking 😊❤ I was familiar with that neighborhood but I never saw her again.
You remind me of a guy I once picked up for Uber. As I came to him, a can randomly ran up to him and he was petting it. He said it's not his and it's the first time a cat came to him.

She was a Russian blue, they are noted for being a bit dog like. They moved about six months ago. I miss that cat. Her owners were cool too but mostly the cat.
Long time ago I was in Prague where hardly anyone spoke English. I was really lonely. One day, I was doing laundry in a launderette, when a cat jumped on my lap and started to kiss me all over my face. It just wanted to cuddle with me. This was one of the most memorable experiences in my life.

The people who hate cats will never know how precious cats are just because of some misjudges on them on the internet. Cats reflect on the environment and situations around them, they know where is safe and which people are kind and good that they want to spend time with. This cat is loved and she knows it that she wants to spend time with him in this loving neighborhood. If the cat is acting aggressively toward somebody you would know that something is wrong with that person and the environment around them and not the cat.
I was visiting a house and was warned about the cats. Unfriendly. Evil. Bite. Scratch. Okay, I'll be careful. Within five minutes of sitting on the couch, I had two purring cats on my lap. Owners: mouths agape. I suspect the cats were not the problem.

My neighbors cat Milo is like this at least to my brother and I, years ago he was basically the boyfriend to our cat Stella but unfortunately she was killed by a truck hitting her years ago (Milo was even laying next to her body when she was found by my aunt) now when I see Milo he just flips on the ground and lets me pet his stomach and it’s so nice he’s amazing and I’m really happy he’s still here to remind me of my cat.

Most cat food brands are low quality, 🐈 animal attacks on outdoor cats and traffic , so try keep your cat INDOORS.especially at night If they have a senior cat, bring it in for a full senior blood panel. its a quick, easy way to assess its basic all around health 🐱

Years ago I experienced the same response with someone else's cat. I first saw him sitting outside his owner's house while I was walking home from work. He was watching me and I was looking at him. I don't approach a cat who doesn't know me since some cats are wary of strangers, but wait to see if they approach me. He noticed me looking at him and apparently thought I might give him some attention so he approached me. So I petted him for a while and after that every time I walked by his home if he was outside he would come running up to me: "MEOW! MEOW! MEOW!" ("Pet me! Play with me! Pay attention to me!") I always stopped to pet him for a while. But he was wary of people he didn't know; if I was petting him and a stranger approached he would back away. Unfortunately I have't seen him in a long time; I suspect he died. That same household did have another cat who would also approach me for petting but he wasn't as eager as the first cat. Sometimes he wouldn't approach me at all (I guess he was too comfortable where he was) and other times he would retreat to the top of the steps after I petted him for a while.
my cat used to be like this until he went to the wrong person who kicked him and broke his pelvis after that he became really skittish and would only go out for a few minute at a time he also decided that my mum was going to be his personal cushion/bodyguard

There's a friendly black cat that is obsessed with my local Morrison's supermarket. Whenever I visit, it's always by the entrance of the shop.

Unfortunately I have't seen him in a long time; I suspect he died. That same household did have another cat who would also approach me for petting but he wasn't as eager as the first cat. Sometimes he wouldn't approach me at all (I guess he was too comfortable where he was) and other times he would retreat to the top of the steps after I petted him for a while.
I deffinitly know a cat like this.

my cat used to be like this until he went to the wrong person who kicked him and broke his pelvis after that he became really skittish and would only go out for a few minute at a time he also decided that my mum was going to be his personal cushion/bodyguard
