- The Dance Of The Dragons was at its end but Cregan Stark still had to deal his form of justice for the acts committed in the last days of the war. All in the name of the boy King Aegon iii, as hand of the king he would have power to bring an end to the chaos of the last three years of war.
The Dance Of The Dragons will be the focus of the plot of the new HBO spin-off House Of The Dragon coming in 2022. So if you want to learn the story before we see HBO's take on it then this will be a very long-running series. Game Of Thrones / House of the dragon are HBO shows based on George R R Martin's A Song Of Ice And Fire series. The information in this video comes from the books a world of ice and fire as well as fire and blood.

Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen was trapped on Dragonstone by her brother King Aegon ii with no way to escape her fate. What was to come was the final showdown between the two main players of the dance of the dragons and bring the war into its final phase. The House of the dragon was crumbling and the events that was about to follow would only cause more damage to both sides of the war.

@@lewanbroski504 She should have went to North even before, instead of trying to conquer King's Landing she should have went to the Eyrie and from there pushed to south, Halaena was a potato uncapable of riding Dreamfyre, Aegon was broken uncapable of riding Sunfyre, the greens lost their dragonseeds, Rhaenyra had Syrax, Moondancer and Stormcloud, those last two being smaller but Syrax alone could have made a giant preassure being the only great dragon alive capable of being riden at this point
@@guifdcanalli I agree but right at the end if she had just went North instead of going "we need more dragons" she would have won and would have been on the thrones, Aegon the 3rd wouldn't have been depressed all his life but who knows by that point anyways the people of Kings landing hated her
@@guifdcanalli I think what's great about the show is that we might see people whisper in her ear that she needs to go to Dragonstone. Because when you read it from the truth tellings it doesn't make sense, but if she had rats within her counsel whispering for Dragonstone than that would total sense.
@@guifdcanalli Stormcloud died after bringing Aegon the Younger back to Dragonstone. She could've sat in the Eyrie but she'd be alone with no food or supplies, as it was winter and the Arryns abandon the Eyrie in Winter and head to the Gates of the Moon or Bloody Gate if the winter is particularly bad.
Rhaenyra would've been better off in the North with Lord Cregan and the Northmen.
After what I’ve seen of the Clubfoot so far in the show, this is gonna be a veeery satisfying moment. All his plotting and scheming came back to bite him royally.

I'm really hoping the portrayal of Cregan Stark in the show is going to be as satisfying as it is in my head. A scary, angry, annoyed northerner that comes down to just shame and or kill the people he's annoyed who then just goes home. I really hope his presence at least intimidates everyone as much as it says in the books.

Cregan couldn't be swayed or bought off easily, Corlys had enough friends (and his legitimised son Alyn Velaryon commanding the fleet) to persuade him to grant Corlys mercy, but Larys didn't have such friends or allies.
I think it was more of a suicide on Clubfoot s part , and he got the swiftest death in the whole book

They needed more lord cregan starks.. Someone who wants to wipe away corruption because its wrong, and NOT BECAUSE IT WOULD OPEN A PLACE/POSITION OF POWER FOR HIMSELF.

This is what Ned should have done. Shown up in force. Second sons and every other spare of the North should have joined the Goldcloaks and taken to guard the Red Keep.
Demand council positions for a vassal or two: Master of Coin for a Manderly. Commander of the Watch for a Karstark. Reprimand Stannis for not being present and order he return to the capital.
And when he found out about the incest, he should have just called for the detainment of the children. If they die, they die.
Ned wasn't Cregan.

I honestly don't know what to make of Cregan Stark. He was loyal to the blacks but I find him too stern. More stern than his descendant Eddard. Someone I would want on my war council but not someone I could see being a friend and trusted confidant.

Nope. Cregan Stark is the true stark. He is cunning true to his sigil being a wolf. The truth is Stark is a dangerous noble house, being responsible for the extinction of around 4 or 5 noble houses in the north at the era before Aegon the conqueror become king. Ned stark on the other hand, even though he is a true stark by bloodline but not by how he acts because his father sends him to be fostered by Jon Arryn, he tends to act like a falcon which is Jon Arryn sigil rather than a wolf. He is very much being taught by Jon about the important of honor and honor solely, true to his house Arryn words, "as high as honor."

Cregan was only pissed he didn't get to fight.... But moreover that the courtiers had poisoned the king after swearing fealty to him because he was unwilling to comply with council. The clubfoot, Perkin, Orwyle, the kingsguard and The sea snake were to die if he had his way. Since Lord Jason was dead, and Borros dead, Storms End should bend this knee and cede land, and Casterly Rock should return the coin they received. Also the sea snake is a traitor as well, he was the queens hand and now is in with the greens who committed regicide.

Most of my info comes directly from fire and blood. If you want more general Westeros stuff read the world of ice and fire. I would recommend reading fire and blood first. Then reading the world of ice and fire, skipping the Targaryen bit up till after the dance of the dragons as it repeats a lot of fire and blood for those bitd

I honestly believe that in the books Cregan Stark is actually the name sake of young Griff aka aegon Targaryen vi. I think that aegon is actually the bastard son of lyanna stark and rhaegar targaryen and lyanna and Ned named him Cregan Sand at the tower of joy. Cregan Stark being the stark Lord that formulated the pact of ice and fire with Prince Jacaerys velaryon and this birth being the closest realized idealisation of that pact is what leads me to believe this theory. Also Cregan Stark is the only Stark to rule in Kings landing during the hour of the wolf. Once young Griff/ aegon targaryen vi conquers westoros and sits the iron throne the pact is fulfilled. Cregan sand will be legitimized as CREGAN TARGARYEN!!!! First half blooded stark half blooded targaryen to rule the 7 kingdoms
