- WHAT IS UP SCRAPYARD! I have my console and PC account separate from one another (unintentionally) and therefore I thought that cross progression would not work for me. Thankfully, buzxii on twitter was able to help me out. Now, I am spreading the CORRECT WAY to cross progress EVEN if your two apex accounts are under two different EA IDs. I hope this helps!

This was probably one of the most helpful problem fix videos that i have seen in a long time. Ive been worried about losing my ps heirlooms since ad they are on 2 accounts but this gives me the chance to use both accounts im not too fussed about merging them, maybe they might do this in the future fingers crossed, but for now im happy having access to both so thankyou! I used to play apex on a Nintendo switch, and have gotten many heirlooms, skins, and pred badges on it, and today I was finally able to get all that on my ps5. The way I did it was I had to make a entirely new PlayStation account using the same exact email and password that my switch account had, and also make sure I was signed into the same email and password for my EA account. Once I did that all my switch progress was on the new playstion account i created. So in order to get it to work for me I had to make sure my account info was the exact same on PlayStation, as my switch.

Great vid man👍🏽 to answer your question, connecting your EA account on the EA website to your steam account will just make the account in question accessible on steam, unfortunately not merge them. It seems like if you had two separate email accounts with EA that you cannot merge them.
that's my issue. Makes me so sad LOL
EA needs to fix this because season 1 players had to create an origin account then create another account if they switch platforms. EA needs to fix this problem
@@MJFO600 agreed, they need to at least allow the option to relink your console account to the account you’re now using to allow them to merge. Xbox forced me to create/use an outlook email and when I moved to PC I used my normal Gmail email that I’ve had for years. Obviously had people been aware that this could potentially be a problem in the future I’m sure most would have done it the “right” way
@@granttcg the frustrating thing is that you can unlink a Xbox account from the ea account and then potentially link the Xbox account to the main ea account but it states that if you unlink the account then all game progress and in-game purchases won’t be transferred over which is the whole point why we want to merge the accounts
Ah got ya! I have most of my cosmetics on my pc account. Just missing a few skins and reactives like the havoc from the early battle pass and and a wraith skin so not worth it for me. Glad u got urs back!

Unfortunately this doesn’t merge your accounts. You can just access both accounts if your on PC. I have my Steam account and my Xbox account which is better than just completely losing one of them

Thanks for the video! I’m actually trying to merge my ps4 to my Xbox though. I would like my ps4 account as my main on my Xbox as it has all my stats. Only issue is they had different emails and I’ve already gotten to the prompt for cross progression on my Xbox.
All that being said, I went and changed my ps4’s ea email to my Xbox accounts email so now they are the same. Will I be offered the prompt again or will they automatically link or am I screwed?

He has a problem when I link a ps4 account to Xbox. It tells me that it is not possible to link a ps4 account to only one platform. I hope you can find a solution to this problem.

if you have 2 different accounts you are in safe spot so you will get everything but in 2 different accounts i lost some badges and some of my trackers i lost some kills and stats

Yo so on my pc I have 2 heirlooms at lvl 40 (i know crazy luck) and on my ps4 I’m lvl 120 with a buncha skins…. When I do the EA app on pc, will it transfer both? Or just get the higher lvl??? I do have 2 diff EA Id accounts

Same thing happened to me but i figured this out months ago and made a new PC account on the same account as my Playstation account and i leveled the battlepass this season on my lower account knowing it wasn't gonna transfer so i got everything twice when cross progression was added as far as Apex packs. I already got the level 5 legendary pack then after cross progression i got it again 😂.
I want to give away my steam account to a friend or sell it but i don't know how. Like I'm wondering do i have to sell everything on steam or can i unlink the account and just sell the account.

FYI, IF YOU LOG INTO YOUR PS5 THEN TRY TO PLAY ON PC AGAIN, IT WILL TELL YOU THAT THE ACCOUNT IS LOGGED IN ON ANOTHER PLATFORM. DON’T PANIC ( FRENCH MONTANA VOICE ) JUST LOG OUT OF EA FROM PC, THEN LOG BACK IN. 💪🏽

I'm in a very weird situation. I haven't played on my console in a very long time. So when I got back on it mentioned my EA account credentials expired. Before this I never knew a EA was made on my console account. I do not have access to the email password or EA ID of this original account. Around october 26th-27th I got in contact with EA help to try to get my platform account/account details of my OG EA linked to my PC account. The representative basically disconnected the platform from the OG account and linked it to my PC account. After that when i log on my PSN I had my stats/lvl and badges but couldnt swap tabs to legends, weapons etc and tokens/coins/crafting would never load up. Today i get the prompt and it got rid off all the stuff on my PSN account and took the PC account as the main. Not sure what to do since EA chat and email support is not available atm

From what I'm getting from this, you'll have 2 accounts, a console account and a pc account with their own cosmetics. Also at the end of the video he answers your question. They won't merge but you can play on both.
I got my xprog and everything was fine I'm so happy
What I did to fix this was unlink my EA account I had for steam (which nukes the account btw, everything on the account gets deleted but I didn't really care because I didn't have much anyway) and then logged into my EA account I had for Xbox and linked my Xbox account with my steam account. It pretty much accomplishes the same thing but I get to play on steam with my Xbox stuff
So just link the Xbox account to steam and it does the same thing? Or do you have to unlink the steam before If it's linked
for me i had made a account for steam because ppl were saying that the progression system was fucked up so i played on that while i waited for it to fix to be safe, once my friend got his pc he just logged into apex with his xbox info and got in no problem if only there was a way to get the sign in shit to come back up when i launch apex thru steam so i can just log into my apex account associated with my xbox stuff
