Stats should have been totaled. Why did they decide to delete stats from one account? Merging accounts implies they are owned by one person. All those kills/damage/accomplishments are assumed to be the work of one person. So they should be added TOGETHER AND TOTALED.
Oh no people that use controller and moved to pc just to plug in a controller lost their kills on console, maybe if you didn't move just to need aim assist again you'd be fine and have all ur kills still on console

Only reason I wanted cross progression. Otherwise it’s actually pointless. Who cares about skins. Badges, I guess but overall the stats is all I cared about

Yeah, I'm pissed off too. Took my Xbox stats that I haven't played in two years and used that as the main. Lost all my good badges from PC, but mostly pissed off that all my weapon mastery was reset. I did so much work on grinding those guns up. Now I need to do it all again.

@@DieOld Idek tbh. They put out a statement saying they're aware of the issue. Everytime I've had a problem with EA I've only talked to a Human once. Always been a bot
They'll try to blame you as the player if you submit a help request on EA's website saying that you shouldn't have linked or unlinked your accounts. It's total bull, I haven't gotten anything back that was lost and no help whatsoever.

I'm missing a bunch of badges after merging and it's so upsetting because it feels like all my hard work is gone. I improved so much since moving to PC and worked so hard, only for every bit of proof of it to just evaporate. Shit sucks.
It would seem I was lucky, though, never really played PC Apex before I got to college, but damn, that sucks. Hopefully everyone affected in this matter is able to get some recovery of their items.

Yea, I had 4 20 kill badges(based) but now I only got my 20 badges on 2 from my OG like season 2 account, I made a new account when I tried out pc and ran with it. Only my PC data transferred, lost all my og skins and badges but my kill count/level transferred over (level 500 on PS4, level 79 PC) I'm level 79 with like 40'000 kills lol

yeah i know people who lost their 4k badges and even more. it is really frustrating that the time and money grinded on apex just went out window when some people got cross progression. I even lost $15 worth of apex coins

I hate apex now. Had a ps4 account at level 175 with a bunch of good og skins before I switched to pc. I am unable to link my accounts because it says “you can only link an EA account to one PSN account per lifetime”. I’ve been playing EA apps for over 10 years and apparently linked an old PSN account to a different game during some point. And because of that I’m just completely out of luck? Seems fair. I see no reason why EA should limit access like that. Their support team is absolute garbage, their phone is ALWAYS busy, so all you can do is talk to a stupid bot or wait “in line” for multiple hours to get a real person to be unable to do anything. Trash company.

i used to play a ton back in seasons 2-6 on ps4, i didnt really take apex seriously and played pubs for the most part. stats were pretty mid everything. switched to pc a around season 15 and started taking ranked more serious. grinded for 4k badges for a lot of legends, got masters badges, much higher stats, everything. i lost it all. all of the hard work i did for those seasons ranked wise was lost since i "played more" back then. why on earth did they didn't just merge them? i really dont know. yeah sure i have all my rare skins back, but for what? everything i earned and grinded for is just lost forever. probably wont ever grind apex again for this reason

If you wanted to have two separate apex accounts then you had to unlink them before cross progression released. Instead the highest level account is chosen regardless of stats. If they truly couldn’t merge everything they should’ve AT LEAST merge skins and cosmetics then let us choose which stats we wanted to keep from accounts

This is the reason I haven’t updated or played apex since I heard this was coming and it was all I was waiting for, because my Xbox account is also 100 but I’ve hit 100+ in other seasons on pc so I’m waiting for them to unfawk this.
I lost everything because of the lack of communication to us.. i had 2 EA accounts and was told to link my Steam and psn account to 1 account before oct 26th!! I spent countless of money since season 1 and badges 4k/20 on all characters.. it's a disgrace and EA or Respawn dont acknowledge the fact that they misscomunicated the info on dual EA accounts prior to cross prog!! There is no going back.. They need to take responsibility on this and refund all the players who lost their accounts due to this.
This just happened to me rn. Last match was Ranked Platinum in my last played. Came in to find silver and all skins wiped. big time flop EA

Bro because my console account and pc accounts were linked to different EA accounts, I lost sooooo much money, and time. Absolutely massive L on Respawns part for not being able to merge EA accounts.
Only issue I had was my battle pass reset and my kills with conduit got reset. Aside from that everything transfered fine and I got both my heirlooms and all my skins. Feel bad for everyone and I hope u get all your stuff soon

I think I lost 2 accounts. Getting the data mismatch error after cross progression. Tried everything will not go into the game. Tried diff, computers and redownloading the game etc. EA doesn’t have an answer and im not the only one

Shit like this is why I left a year ago and haven't felt like returning one bit. I floated around Diamond in ranked and just didn't see the point in the playing with the constant changes to ranked that made it boring asf.
yeah.... they didnt give me my legend tokens, and my levels, i was lev 1200 + and after merge it started me at lvl 1, but i can still do ranked, and other things.
It will be ok. They will fix it. Have faith.

My brother and I both said no to cross progression it merged my 4x pred account and 16x masters 75k kills to his account and two heirlooms but get this , we can both still play they haven’t linked and both exsist

Yeah you should also get reimbursed for heirlooms that you have on other consoles. I had 2 on xbox.
I was mad. I lost all my og badges like maxed out bonus round and glory seeker not to mention all the master badges for every split till season 12 when i moved to pc.

50000 kills down the drain along with 4k 20s on various legends and all the badges gone.
I think they did it like this to stop you going down to a lower level account so you dont get all the free apex packs while leveling again

Merging accounts means you take everything both accs have, combine it, then call it one account.
Not deleting one account for whatever arbitrary reason
I tried talking to support for a week as I unlinked my psn from the psn ea account and moved it to my main ea with my steam and got fkd. Remove crossplay. just put it back till its fixed so everyone has to wait still shits bs. if they can remove arenas they can do this

Yer was a little upset when I checked my Xbot account where I had a 20 bomb 4k with Valk in my very 1st game & retired using her after that match. Then went to check & my ps stats overwrite everything lol
I lost loads of character skins, weapon skins, and it rest me to level 16... Oh and not forgetting the lifeline heirloom and 301 golden rampage skin. I have played this game wince day one, xbox time is 94days 19h, pc play time is 743hrs.

I had my steam and my psn account linked to 2 seperate ea accounts but all my main stuff was on ps4, so i got all that but my steam progess is gone forever. Not alot lost but still sucks. Also reset all my battlefield stats too
bro i dont understand whats happening. ive only played on pc afteri linking my steam acc to my EA ID and now that i am trying to play the game again its telling me that im having merge issues. something abt merge servers being busy and then at the end said that my account is unable to migrate to cross progression for some reason...

All they had to do was give us the dam option to sign into a specific platform account, merge them and you chose the one that’s gonna be the main. Waited 16 seasons for this BS.
I lost everything, restarted back at level 1
My PS and PC were never used as much as Xbox, more of a f'in around test. So my stats are properly preserved, and all my Xbox skins etc. But the few cool things I unlocked on PC via freebie loot boxes are missing. Bloodhound laying the rifle on your corpse finisher hurts the most.
Never forget: no one hates Apex Legends as much as the people who make and publish Apex Legends.
Losing 80k kills does make sense to people who understand how much of a grind that would’ve been… that would suck. Hopefully they fix it Zeus

Cross progression only gave me 1 skin out of everything I had on my original account from all the years I’ve played

Edit: OK, so the way cross progression works is weird. All cosmetics, hierlooms, Legend Tokens and Crafting materials merge. The stats from the HIGHEST LEVEL account are the "Alpha Account" stats. I swapped to PC during Ballistic, but had higher stats from my PS4 account. Therefore, despite getting a bunch of kills in whatever season Ballistic released, my PS account's stats were used.
My experience wasn’t this bad but still confusing, I lost all my badges from Xbox like 4ks and master badges, but I have the master holo sprays? Makes no sense.
Yea I played PC before xbox and they made me make a 2nd EA account when I started playing on xbox. It just wouldnt let me log in to my EA account. Once I moved back to PC, I was finally able to get my EA acc back. I asked them about merging my two EA accounts but they told me my apex stuff wouldnt merge cause "it would ruin the integrity of the game".. I'm fucking depressed about it
