I like that Jen stayed. Gordon definitely kept her because of honesty, even though that mistake she made can end even the best chef's career in seconds. The one person who knew and kept quiet about it (Julia) was gonna be eliminated and Jen wasn't gonna let her take the fall when she knew that it was her who really deserved to go. Props to her for that.
Elise would have let Julia take the fall easily. Even tbough Julia's move saved her and more importantly customers!
Honestly, Jen is kinda underrated as a chef. People only remember her for her trash mistake (understand my so) but she made third and was a standout chef (and one of the best for S3 standards)
Sometimes it's hard to do the right thing, it's good to see when people make that decision despite how difficult it may be
Meanwhile, Joanna is always acting too bossy and know it all and always bullying Julia for being inexperience. She didn't admit her mistake for almost sending rancid crab while Jen admitted it and got stopped by Julia.
No he kept her because out of the two rotten crab would have either killed or put someone in hospital suffering severally
I liked that Joanna was the one who was sent home in that moment. Jen was honest about her mistake, even though she got away with it, but knew she had to at least for Julia. Julia corrected Jen in that dumb moment and didn't rat her out even though she was in the firing line. Joanna in her last moments tried to pass off a comment on Jen's mistake being worse than hers, and that was her downfall. Moral lesson of the day, taking an L is okay, but don't be deceptive and try to make yourself look better than others in comparison. Own your mistakes honestly and work on being better.
lol haha 😆

Capellini genocide
Can you imagine going to a restaurant and finding out that the chef took your food out of the trash and served it to you?! 🤢🤮
depends if there was anything in the trash before as i doubt the trash bags in hells kitchen are like in home where you can have molded bread that you found right after you just emptied the trash, chuck it to bin and it sits in home bin for 3-5 days for bin to fill up. i think the bins in hells kitchen are emptied and bags replaced at start of each service. i am saying this because at melindas pasta scene you can see (if you slowly use the . and , to go frame by frame) that melinda chucks into the bin some pasta with something meat probably lobster and ramsey pulled out mostly pasta with meat that was probably the lobster for pasta with only thing that didn't seemd that belonged was something green that rolled off probably slice of green pepper or similar. if there would been anything else besides pasta and lobster meat im sure it would have came out.

Yup. Just…just yes.
Raj enjoyed it
@DILLIGAF Uhuhuhu, nice reference dude. Uuuh huhu.
Looks like something out of a colostomy bag.
You know, I'm actually curious how horrible it is. Like Gordon has an exceptional pallet workout a doubt, so he's insanely ultra critical. Maybe it's far from fine dining, but inedible? And then I think every contestant sees the "everyone is going to try disgusting plate" thing as the kind of universality known but unspoken rule of "let's all agree how horrible it is so they go home and it's not us". I just can't imagine someone who made it through whatever vetting the show has can actually make something inedible.
That “big man” was the most respectful and heartfelt thing Ramsay would ever say to Raj
to anyone who talks about the gumbo: gumbo is a VERY tricky dish. it HAS to be at a certain temperature and be cooked in a certain way or it could and will give someone food poisoning. the dish just LOOKS inedible. it looks dry, crusty and burnt. and no these reactions aren’t fake and before anyone says “Gordon could just be faking it for the money” Gordon Ramsay is a world renowned chef with a world renowned restaurant and SEVERAL tv shows, he doesn’t need to fake anything for money. and sure the contestants MIGHT fake it BUT tons of chefs who came on here and won, own some of the best restaurants and have some of the best food. i think that means more than humiliating someone on tv.
Idk where you got your information from, but gumbo is NOT tricky to make 💀💀 you’re OBVIOUSLY not from the south 😂😂 Gumbo is one of the easiest things to cook down here boo 💀

@@bthsr7113 Gumbo isn’t a buffet food 💀💀 that’s my point. Idk who ever said it was or who said that it was okay to serve gumbo at a buffet, but it’s not. That is not a food that you keep out all day, even if it’s kept heated 🙅🏻♀️🙅🏻♀️ Rice either, in any circumstance. It’s not hard to make when you have the right ingredients and make it right and proportional to the amount of people that are gonna eat it. It’s more of a family meal. not a social meal. Major respect to Jen for nominated herself for elimination honestly
thats why she stayed. Gordon didnt even notice it but she had the balls to confess and take the consequences.
Not to mention Joanna tried to elevate herself on top of Jen on the spot saying “she would never serve trash” even though she literally tried to serve fatally dangerous crab
I can't figure out why people who have watched the series still sometimes hold that over her head later in the season. She did it, but she admitted it was a lapse in judgement, and that's it. Why can't people forgive her?

Jeremy: brings up hours old food
Jeremy, after being eliminated for this very mistake: “I’m a great chef.”
Honestly I just face palmed like 50 times when i heard him say that...
He didnt do it on Purpose. He was confused and disoriented (most likely from Dehydration as he had problems with that earlier and he was an Ex Stroke Patient so theres also that).. he asked if this plate is ready to serve and the others said yes. It was a collective Failure that should never have happened. But still doesnt excuse what he did. That mistake could have in the worst case kill the unfortunate soul that ate it.
@@Y0G0FU 4:06 you can literally hear Dan say “no” after Jeremy asked to walk the plate

The Bible says in John 3:16-36 that whoever believes in the Lord Jesus Christ shall not perish but have everlasting life, the Bible also says in Romans 10:9 that those who declare with their mouth that Jesus Christ is their God, Lord, and Savior they shall be saved. Revelation 1:8 says that Jesus is the alpha and the omega. Luke and revelation is the ending times, and Jesus is returning back. So are you going to submit your life to him or no? Narrow is the path that leads to the gates of heaven, but only few people find it. The gates that is the path to destruction is where many people find it! Jesus loves you SO MUCH! That he died on the cross, and was resurrected from the dead 3 days later to give us eternal life..!.!.

Antonia actually got crazy sick and collapsed ON CAMERA before dinner service could even start. She had to be hospitalized and could not continue in the competition.
Now in my opinion, I could be wrong, but that gumbo must’ve been what got her mad sick. It made Gordon throw up and everyone else looked like they were gonna get sick. Now just imagine, she probably tasted that gumbo multiple times, and it effected her super badly. 😬

Basically it's because the cold stays at the bottom, freezing the water, while the hot upper area evaporates, meaning there's less water to freeze making it easier. Even pasta from the rubbish bin!
Man tastes every iota of crap in that food.
its a gift and a curse
lmaoooo
@@Locutus and rancid crab 🦀
1:48 I love the way Gordon picks up the towel like he’s picking up a dead rat😂
Reminds me of scene from full Metal jacket where DI pick the stolen donut funny scene lol.
My favorite part right here 3:53
How the hell did she cook pasta from literal garbage and not get disqualified like Im happy she took the blame for her actions but damn 🤣🤣
Just goes to prove that Ramsey values honesty and taking responsibility for your own actions.
Probably because her coming forward about it even though she didn't have to shows that she knows she was wrong, there's no reason to punish someone for a mistake that didn't hurt anybody when the person who made the mistake clearly learned their lesson.
Also Joanna did a mistake just as unethical and didn't own up to it, Jen did
7:15 WTF
Why would anyone do that?
It’s not a five second rule; your literally serving garbage now!
Gordon's high-pitched "look" will forever make me spit out my coffee 🤣
I live for Gordon Ramsay voice cracks
3:54
"Jermmy is just standing like that like eating breakfast"
😂😂😂
He's makes every chief is making good food for everyone by using extreme language and masterful experience
"Look! *LOOK* "6:10
The voice crack is what gets me every time
@@misfitgaming2935 same 🤣
WHAT THE *F@CK* IS *THIS!!!!!*
It’s the same voice when Louie wasted the lamb in the same exact episode.
@@nicoyoung1998 ?
That “cold water boil faster than hot water” clip isnt gross at all though. stupid yes, but grossest moment on Hells Kitchen? someone screwed up the editing 😂😂
That is true.
This cold water is fucking RANCID
It's probably a misremembered fact. Cold water boils more efficiently than hot water (less energy waste per second) not that it boils faster.
It's actually partially true. Hot water freezes faster than cold water. Not the other way around
@@1231super other way around its works also
7:30 Bruh, we as customers are thankful for people like Julia existing in the kitchen of the restaurants we visit.
Chef Ramsay is wild for making everyone try her food just to prove a point and add on to the humiliation😭😭😭
His
6:45 she smoking that good stuff
Whot
06:05 "How much is in the bin? Look! LOOK!"
Hilarious
His voice went up like 3 octaves
WTF is ThIIIIs?!
@6:16. Chef is about to explode!!!
bruh what happened to the customer's food when Ramsay kicked all the chefs out??????? At 3:00 (if anyone knows)
Other chefs finish it
@@rumcodray2275 Both teams were ejected to the dorms so Gordon himself probably just finished those orders to be done before shutting down service
Most people there if not all of them were paid to come at Hell’s Kitchen. They get told that there’s a chance they won’t eat and even if they eat it’s free.
6:30 very underrated GR moment
4:47 ha “ray is scrambling” while making scrambled eggs, good pun
"so i took the spaghetti out of the trash and i washed it."
that statement hurts to hear.
She was absolutely burned by Ramsey at 9:58. She had no answer to it. Criticises others and can't even own up to her own mistake which could have proved fatal. This is why Ramsey chose Jen; because of her honesty. Joanna was dishonest and rotten to the core.
Seriously Melinda is still wasting cappellini, how much did she throw away, it's on like how many videos
O.O
Some say to this very day, she’s boiling and throwing away capellini in a kitchen somewhere. With that look 👁👄👁
It's not entirely her fault. She had to keep restarting because Tek kept screwing up the scallops, and most of what was there was already in the bin when Melinda jumped on the station (the rest was put there by Lovely before she fucked off to spend 45 minutes sucking down four bottles of water).
Sometimes I feel Gordon forgot what he named his own show...if Julia is willing to serve pasta from the garbage on national television, imagine what she does at home.
I think the varying levels of incompetence surprises him more than anything.
It was Jen not Julia.
Julia SAVED the pasta, Jen pulled it out the trash
*Jen**
My dude edit the comment and is still fuck up
I love how Gordon’s voice cracks when taking the endless flood of spaghetti out the bin 🤣
The gumbo got me dying 🤣🤣😭😭
When that girl said ‘i thought cold water was supposed to boil faster’ Gordon was too confused to even shout at her 😂
3:29 what is he doing? Did he think Gordon told everyone to leave except him? I'm so confused why he continued to cook stuff after he was told to leave
That was my favourite too, Gordon just walks up to him and screams in his face 😂😂
Bruh I was wondering “Wtf is he doing there still?” after Ramsay yelled at them to leave and decide on who to vote for….
Because Ben is an idiot 😂
😭
Trying desperately hard to be the shining star 🤣
The funniest thing is that Gordon and his actual sous chef could probably handle the entire night by themselves, which is exactly why he can kick 2 kitchens out at the same time 😭
“Ok then throw it out!”
Gordon: “Noooo!” Let me humiliate you real quick 😂
As someone from South Louisiana I can at the very least speculate about the 1st dish. Either she went to Louisiana on vacation, and thought she could re-create gumbo outside the state. Or, she found a crap recipe online, was praised by people who ate it only cause it was foreign to the, and inevitable gets called out by Gordon for having no sense of consistency. And it's pronounced Mardi "GRAW" not Mardi "GRASS." There's no special Gumbo recipe during Mardi Gras, unless you're giving up red meat for lent, in which case it has to be seafood based(Other than Cajun, Creole, and West African variations on ingredients). She looks like someone who'd sprinkle $12.00/oz Cajun spice blend on Fettuccini alfredo and call it authentic because of the expensive seasoning.
I enjoy watching most of the Food shows. Although I'm no culinary expert, just by looking at the gumbo, one can see that the rue is way too dark, the soup is really thick and cloudy. I would take a hard pass and not even taste it. Plus Antonia reminds me of a Goth school lunch lady. Ewwww!
@@tj.espygil4544 I make my gumbo as black as the cast iron pan I make it in. It's kind of a hassle to get the roux that color, and definitely takes some extra care, but it's an amazing flavor
