Honestly, regardless of Joy's mistakes, Sandra really fucked her over with that lobster. Almost feels like she did it on purpose too - every time she's commenting on whether or not its going to work out she's got that little smirk on her face.

I couldn’t stand Sandra she never communicated and made all her other teammates look bad, it’s sad she passed but she was an awful teammate and she only worried about herself in there the lobster part made me so mad because not only was she picking on Joy but she wasn’t even communicating with her other teammates

Yeah, the voice over would be added at the conclusion of the filming when the show has been edited down to its 60 minutes or whatever it was. It would have been scripted as well. TV is really smoke and mirrors. They have to find entertaining segments to make the show interesting. I think it would be really funny if all the contestants were better chefs than Mr. F*Ck-Off himself. Imagine sitting in a swanky restaurant where the head chef swears at all his staff as well as the customers. Not only that, but he just threw my scallops in the garbage.
The producers will know a little bit about the personalities of these contestants from the get-go. They deliberately put people together who they know are going to create sparks.

This is really a great foreshadowing moment of what doomed Joy on the show. A superb chef, but she has a breaking point where she just loses all focus and gets caught up in her emotions. It's exactly what happened when she quit mid-service.
It sucked that when she recognized her behavior, it was already too late.

Id imagine that after the "shut down" Gordon had a standby team of personal cooks come in and take care of the orders rather than turning all those guests away empty-stomached.
He usually cooks with the 2 sous chefs in these situations. Or maybe he leaves them hungry and shuts down the whole thing
This has happened before on the show and they have shown that if both kitchens get kicked out, Gordon and the sous chefs will finish the orders. Also the staff you see doing dishes and what not in the back are also back up chefs.

Apparently, some contestants have said that some waiters/waitresses are actually chefs and will step in and help.
Not sure how true that actually is though.
They aren’t just random guests they are usually invited and told they may or may not get any food at all before the service if they wanted food they should’ve gone to a real restaurant

I honestly feel bad for Joy, I think she was trying her best but got completely overwhelmed by teammates.
This is the only time I feel bad for Joy because in the rest of season, she becomes a bully especially towards Rochelle and Scott. Let's not forget how she nominated Rochelle because Rochelle wants a family. So? She can do that after the show.
She's also always having a childish tantrum whenever something doesn't get what she wants. Also, the one time she missed a protein in one challenge, she was crying and felt upset and somehow her dish became the winning dish.
Let's not forget her rage quit in Black Jacket service over a miscommunication!
Ironically, for someone whose name is Joy, she is the most negative person on this season.

Fact of the matter is, Jean Phillipe has the toughest job out of all of them, telling hungry people "goodnight".
This is still the worst dinner service in Hell’s Kitchen history. Crazy how there were 20 chefs and yet a couple of incompetents prevented both brigades from serving a single dish!
Also the first time in HK history that both teams were kicked out 3 straight services. It took them 4 times to finally complete one.
The poor girl Joy was the ONLY one doing anything!
