The funniest part is that he got eliminated for the same reason
Literally the dumbest reason to get kicked out and eliminated.
Even if it wasn't for that poor attempt of a joke Sebastian would've been at least been put up for nomination
He made several mistakes before that and held the entire kitchen up and twice Zach put up perfect scallops and had to refire 2 times because of him...his comment showed Ramsay he wasn't being serious after making mistakes so he got the boot @@ZombieN8YT

Zach was a machine during that service. Even if you don’t like the guy, you have to give him credit for this
The man is a roller coaster, but he refused to let a first service anxiety spike take him down. As someone who knows what that anxious nausea can do (not with the same job, just the symptoms), I'm forever impressed by that.

It's a shame that he recognised that too much, because he got super cocky after this service and it all went downhill from there.

this is one of the greatest services in hell’s kitchen. almost the whole blue team was kicked out, and the red team wasn’t much better. we need more of these long service episodes.
I vote for season 9 episode 3 where the red team was such a hot mess that Ramsay had the entire team take a walk of shame through the restaurant and apologize to everyone.

@@jamesryan6008Or in one episode in Season 8 where the Red Team which finished the service first got tasked to help the Blue Team and there's a chaos in the kitchen because how much disorganized the Blue Team is. Ramsay has enough and kicked both of the team, the only time that the helping team also got kicked out. Just showing how much pathetic season 8 is!
This service is so iconic, from Danielle never cooking in a brigade before to Sebastian just being a mess 😂

Zach had a phenomenal service and even continued after throwing up whilst the rest of his team got kicked out, only person in the blue team to get through dinner service (besides Christian who was in the dining room most of the service). Zach was on a downward spiral after that, can only get worse from there, unlike Jon who was kicked out however ended up surviving longer than all of the men. Zach had too much of an ego to reach top 6 and should have been top 10 at best.
Meanwhile Danielle: 'I have never worked in a brigade before' like at least 5 times. Had the Blue team not performed so badly then I think Danielle would have been sent home

I mean if your entire team gets kicked out the kitchen and you’re the last man standing wouldn’t you be cocky? Let’s be for real. Zach should earn his top 6 position from that night alone.
I say that Zach should’ve been eliminated at the final 7 at best. Ray and Michael were pretty more reasonable eliminations at best. Ray was pretty much too inconsistent in his run and despite Michael’s 1st time nominated at the final 9, his service was pretty abysmal and his run overall was just too bumpy. Now Zach staying over Anthony was a huge no no there. Had Anthony stayed, then they should’ve been 6 black jackets instead. And it’s either he would’ve ended up in 6th place or surpass both Cyndi and Susan ranking in 4th place.
@@rayewaddell9668 And when Ja'Nel got moved to Blue Team, Zach becomes a total clown because of Ja'Nel and Jon are totally great chefs and he becomes overwhelmed. He may convinced everyone to nominate Ray and Nedra but not with Ja'Nel. Poor Jon has to suffer for so long for having Zacky Wacky as his teammate.

1. While yes it was wrong of Zach to sabotage Ray, this was a Charity Service. These services are extremely important to where chefs have to learn how to delegate their own course and team. Ray was pretty horrible at running his own course. Especially when one of his pasta dishes came back crunchy and it took 2 courses for it to head back out. Now the cold sauce may have been Zach’s fault, Ray should’ve caught that on his own without Ramsay catching the cold sauce first. These types of services are very important to nail when it comes down to testing your leadership skills. This service was the final straw in Ray’s run.
2. Nedra was already on thin ice during her run. Her time on the blue team was so short and her station was pretty messy. She was the worst contestant in the final 8 that night so it was her time to go.
3. I can understand why Jon voted Anthony at the final 7. I guess probably because Anthony was his biggest competitor compared to Zach and while yes Zach was the worst at the final 7, Anthony did have his shortcomings as well too. The guy scored 0-4 on the blind taste test. I don’t agree with this elimination but hey. I guess the producers of season 11 rather have someone declining towards Black Jacket to get eliminated just to make this a female dominate black jacket group with Jon being the only male guy in black jacket.

Sebastian wasn't joking when he called Zach "Zacky Wacky". He was foreshadowing Zach's downwards spiral. Sebastian is a prophet.

If you’re joking around like that during dinner service and you come back into the kitchen 3 times after being told to get out, then why should you continue on? Sebastian was funny but this just wasn’t the right time for him to be a comedian.

Out of the whole frenzy of Chefs getting booted out, Rays boot was my favorite. I still give huge props to Zach for finishing the service like a champ even after throwing up.

Season 11 definitely has my favorite opening night service. Raymond tasting the risotto with his fingers was especially hilarious 😂

Honestly those scallops Gina cooked the first time were some of the best ive seen on the show.
i got scared for Zach because i thought he was going to be rushed to the ER for a moment when he described what symptoms he was having. relieved that he had some cold water and got through it all.

I just want to appreciate that after Gordon kicked out Gina for the scallops he praised Nedra for the risotto, after Gina tried to throw Nedra under the bus. That little indication that yes, he sees what's happening and you can be dang sure he's going to handle it. Also, just the fact that he gives praise when it's due
