Exactly take a tuned raptor against a trx , and I'm sure it will surprise alot of raptor haters.
I like this style of video, get an explanation of the vehicle. And there's a reason why Hennessy isn't cheap, because the work and fabrication it takes to integrate aftermarket parts to the stock sensors and stuff is no easy task. But is a very high quality build when done right, and they do it right all the time.
Also, a 3yr 36,000 mile warranty. I could purchase cold air intake, radiators, and bring it to a shop to get dyno’d….but after that, anything happens is all on me. I’d figure 3/36 is long enough to get any issues fixed quite a big deal

I dont have words but is great perfomance good job from hennessey , but need more to work on design as wild body kit, congratulation guys keep this way , awesome job.

So basically a Gen 3 Raptor with an ecoboost v6 with a tune making 600 hp could probably keep up or even beat the TRX ? Because honestly i have seem some races between the stock Raptor and TRX and the gap isn't that different, maybe less even, so since Ford is coming out this year with the Raptor R model with most likely the 5.2 L Predator Supercharged V8 from tthe GT500 with 700+ HP, it would literally beat the TRX outright, it's lighter, has more hp, and has better overall stats in every category already as is.
And the raptor R came with just 700 hp and 350 pounds lighter
I don't think their running that stock raptor in sport mode or he's not giving it all this got. That's a huge difference for just a cold air intake, intercooler and tune.

Honestly the 20in wheels defeat the purpose of the truck. I wouldn’t jump that truck with 20’s…. You just lose too much sidewall with 20’s if you don’t go up on the tire size. Just take a stock raptor and throw a Cobb stage 2+ on it and enjoy the drive
Goosetune or 5 Star is a better tune than Cobb. From what I’ve researched, Cobb is really conservative on their tunes.

I would rather have the old ecoboost v6 sound than a gtr sounding pick up truck. Imagine having a ferrari sounding truck while towing something.

There are a few different exhaust modes on the gen 3. Even a quite i do believe. .
Its true, most of the time im in quiet mode, but its nice to have options, and factory at that, with buttons on the steering wheel

I'm starting to hate the sound of these trucks I like a GTR sound or a 350z sound stock but the new Raptor sounds like a Nissan with a muffler delete sounds obnoxious 😂 still better than the previous gen Raptor which sounds like a Dyson vacuum

So $30,000 dollar ....is it worth it?. Uhm I don't know. I guess if you have the money around I guess is worth it to you. But to us mortals ...I do t think so. I guess age has made me a bit more sensitive to unnecessary spending. The me of 15 years ago would ha e dropped the money like nothing ...me today.... I don't find a reason why I would dropped Hennessey type of money for upgrade.
