How to Display Free Art on a Smart TV | Not Specific to the Frame TV!

- This very simple tutorial will show you how to display art on a TV. It is easier than ever to get free art on any smart TV, not Frame TV specific! While the Samsung Frame TV is known for this functionality, you can get art on any smart TV for free in a variety of ways. Here are my favorite options to turn your TV into a piece of art.

You forgot to mention to play with display settings (brightness down, contrast up) to creat nearly identical vie to the picture frame tvs. Very realistic!!!!

Hey thanks for this tip! Question: my idea is to do this but put my tv into a portrait direction (vertically) . Have any ideas on how to make it display the images vertically?
Since CZcams is a horizontal platform, that likely wouldn’t work. But if you upload vertical photos as another option it may appear correctly. I’ve never tried it though. Maybe you’ll start a new trend!
Hands down one of my favorite tips given on a home decor channel. I just subscribed to your channel and Vintage Art TV. The entire picture doesn't show up on my TV but some do. I've downloaded a bunch of public domain art on my Mac...can you show us how to upload the artwork that we've downloaded?
Most TVs have a USB port you can use! Just save your art to it and plug it in. Or you can load your art to google photos and use the app. 😊
Hi, Thank you for this great info. Do you know if there is any way we can stop the art from scrolling? We would like to choose an art and have it stay for awhile, until we choose another piece of art, rather than scrolling through. Some art matches our decor better than others.
You’d have to pick a channel that posts static images as their videos rather than a selection. Or pause it, but I’m not sure what that would do. 😉

Yep it’s just a regular CZcams video so unless you replay it, it will go on to the next recommended video.
Question, I'm contemplating the frame tv but just saw you. I've always used screen saver on CZcams but didn't know about the other options. How long does the picture last and does the tv have to be on?
The tv has to be one. The picture last as long as the channel you choose. So if the video is an hour long, then it lasts an hour.
It's wonderful but some says it may screw your screen

It depends on the channel you use. Some of them have a static photo (like) option but most are scrolling video.
I do not have a CZcams subscription… so how do you keep the ads from coming on?
But I would have to leave the on. I believe the other frame tv the art appears when the tv is off right?
I’m not sure how the frame tv works. I think it’s like a stand by mode but could be wrong!
I was literally about to spend 900 bucks on a Frame Tv. I saw this video and bought a 250.00 SMart Tv to display art work on instead instead!!!!

What can I do if it is blurry at the beginning? I fasted vorward, and then it was sharp. Only to go in the blurry mode again and then it took a while to get sharp again.
This sounds like a tv issue rather than the channel.

Nothing that can be done for that except not placing near a window. 😊
@@GraceInMySpace I'd be willing to bet you could put a matte film like a window tint on it also, I know they've got untinted matte film for other things

Yes, with a normal tv. The frame tv is different.

There is one simple way to fine tune the settings on any TV:
1. take a picture of any physical artwork on your wall by phone
2. send to the TV
3. adjust the display parameters to match the look the actual image from the wall

It’s never been an issue for ours! But I can’t speak from a manufacturer standpoint.

You’re correct, but this isn’t necessarily a fix for permanent art. More for when you’d like to have it visible when guests come over or for special occasions.

I’d contact your manufacturer as I don’t know the details of each tv. Hasn’t harmed mine!
