    Hi Erin,
    I just pulled the trigger on a new Samsung TV two weeks ago. The Frame was on the shortlist, but given my specific situation with a huge bright window straight behind me I decided against the Frame and went for the higher QN95A model, because of the better anti-reflex coating (and the way better image). Ambient mode has also a lot to offer and let the TV disappear as well - although not as good as the Frame.

    Thanks for great content. I just ordered one 32" tv (2023 model) just for using artmode. I am wondering that does Samsung frame´s artmode support also video formats? My plan is to create few "living pictures" (1-5 hour videos files) and my intention is to use them in the same content rotation as the .jpg images - so i wonder is that possible? Hellos from Finland!

    Just got the 2022 model, absolutely great buy. The only complaint I have is there does not seem to be a search option to look for something specific. It takes forever to browse thru all the categories.
    The Search on the left menu only works for media. Am I missing something?

    No ambient mode, on 2022 'frame'

    I wanted to ask about the “take a picture of your wall, and let your tv just blend in.”
    Do just that ? Take a picture and downloaded to the tv?

      Pretty much! Depending on the light in the room the photo may not match exactly. But it’s close!

    is it possible to activate art mode for certain hours of the day? For example, for art mode to come on at seven in the morning and turn off at nine in the morning? And once it turns off or goes into sleep mode, it would reactivate either through motion, detection or manually, turning it on, or, another time programmed trigger?

    • @ErinLawrenceTV
      @ErinLawrenceTV  Před 11 měsíci

      That’s pretty much how it works. If you have the motion, detection enabled, it will turn the screen off if no one is in the room. And when motion is detected again, it pops on so fast that it’s hard to catch it.

    How did you hide the one connect cord? The one that comes with the Frame is not in-wall rated and I haven't found one that is. I don't want to see the cord.

    • @ErinLawrenceTV

      I ran conduit inside the wall and put it in the wall anyway. I have not had any issues with it.

    • @LifeInSpace
      @LifeInSpace Před rokem

      @@ErinLawrenceTV Was that some type of flexible conduit? Also, how did you get the card in the conduit with the big connectors at both ends?

    I really love the Frame TV so far, looks great and really fun to use. QUESTION: When you click on info for a piece of art, what does the "acquire artwork" actually mean? Does it mean you have it permanently or receive some Digital download rights?

    Can you default to Ambient mode instead of Art mode when the tv is off? I have frame TV and love the motion of ambient mode, but do not want to have to put the tv into ambient mode every time

    Hi Erin. I have the 8K Q800 Samsung. I can get my own photos on the TV frame, however they aren't full screen. How do I do that?

    • @ErinLawrenceTV
      @ErinLawrenceTV  Před rokem

      Sometimes the difference is in how you have taken the photo. To get them to completely fill the screen you need to take the photos in widescreen format, not 4 x 3

      Make sure your photo is landscape, and that live(iphone) image is turned off. I just bought one and uploaded via smartthings app no problem.

    Hi, great video!
    I haven't found a way to rotate the art or pictures yet, only how to select one work or image, and that seems to be set until I choose a new one. Do you know if there is another way to do it?
    It seems strange to be able to add your own photos but not be able to set up some kind of reel view or selection to show.

      @ErinLawrenceTV  Před 2 lety +1

    Hi Erin, I just got the Frame TV 2022 thanks to this video :) very happy with the art mode, although the motion sensor doesn't work and the tv never goes into sleep mode. I wonder if you know why!?

    • @ErinLawrenceTV
      @ErinLawrenceTV  Před rokem +1

      There are some weird settings with the motion sensor... if you have certain other settings enabled it almost cancels them out. Too long for me to explain here but if you google 'Frame TV motion sensor not working' you'll find information about what to do.

    I remember being afraid of "burn in" on HDTVs. Is this still a thing? A stationary image does not seem like a good thing.

    • @shalashaska615
      @shalashaska615 Před 2 lety

      I am trying to find out the same thing. I don’t think this permanently displays an image.
      From what I can tell so far it has a motion sensor that brings it to life and it rotates pictures on a time loop and you also need to pay a subscription.

    • @TheoSmith249
      @TheoSmith249 Před rokem

      Qled tech is so far from plasma tvs. Don't worry about it. If you remember 'burn in', then you're old enough to have a new tv.... and let that old issue melt away.

    • @Junispro31
      @Junispro31 Před rokem

      This TV screen is QLED that's designed to display images for a long time without burn in issues. There are people that have the Frame TV with art displayed months at a time with no issues at all. You should be fine
