1/2tsp - Aniseed

Beef Seasoning - tt
For Stew and Jollof
Onion - One and a Half medium sizes

2-3cups - Tomato Sauce
4tbsp - Tomato Paste
Curry Powder - tt

We cook a rice dish exactly that way, but on some parts of the Caribbean, it is called ,*cook up* and on others, it is called *pelau*, especially in Trinidad and Tobago. Thank you so much for this recipe. I was doubting myself while making this because I never made jollaf rice before, but it came out very good. It was a great idea to put some of the stew aside. I added it to the rice on my husband and my plate once I was finished cooking, and it took the rice up a few notches. 😋
