I found this album in a Goodwill bin. It was definitely worth the $1 i spent! 10/10 This record is fun to listen to.
アル・ハートさんの高音は明るくてテクニックも素晴らしい自由自在だ。
Being a Dixieland enthusiast, I listen to as many as I can( thank you you tube). In my opinion Al Hirt and his group are in a class by themselves!! Their individual mastery of ideas, stylistic feel, and "swingin' ass musicianship" is just incredible!!! Can someone list the other players on this album??? Thank you!
Bill Mack - 100% correct.
I think Bob Havens of Lawrence Welk fame is on trombone.Awesome trombonist!!
that is bob havens on trombone from the lawrence welk show
One of the all-time greats on 'bone. How about those monster licks he kicks out on this LP. Wow...
Right on Daan Linssen...Harry James and others were great but NOBODY tops Al Hirt.
Hello Karl, Your certainly entitled to your opinion BUT I'll take Hirt anytime. Check out his version of I Love Paris. Hirt is in a class by himself. THE BEST!
Bix, Beiderbecke, Mendez and Harry were good but Al was the top of the heap. Even Les Brown said there was nobody better on a horn than Al.
You forgot about a fella named Bobby Hackett and I'll take him vs. anyone.
I'll see your Al Hirt and raise you a Doc Severinson.
@@karlrovey I'll call you with a Wynton Marsalis.
Al Hirt was a trumpeters trumpet player! He was the best!
Damn, he Hirt's!
