Nos jazzman d’aujourd’hui peuvent se rhabiller
I love those great second tenor/baritone notes of the beautiful trombone!
Sempre piacevoli, grazie!!!
Sometimes I listen to this music and think (as a long-ago trumpet player) "Yeah, they're good, but I think I could play that." Pro tip: Yes, they ARE that good. No you (we) are not. Just sit back and enjoy the music. There's a big difference between a talent and a gift. Exercise your talents. If you're lucky, find your gift. But don't confuse either one with wishful thinking! Enjoy the tunes.
Loved Frank's "Glocca Morra". Great Singer. Very Underated.
Great
I do believe that "Floatin' Down to Cotton Town (13:14)" is actually "Big Butter and Egg Man".

Dear gentlemen of You Tube: I beg you for your kindest attention, to remove for life, that execrable "covert public advertisement" in the folds of DEMOCRACY; of the no less detestable and abhorrent subject. Without further ado, I greet you very cordially.

I treasure this LP especially for Louis - and for the fabulous tubaist Richard Matheson. Too bad the balance is very poor....

I can’t think of the name of the tune after Ballin’ the Jack. What is it? And is that Billy Butterfield? Sounds nice.
I’m so great full that I got to see him perform live when he had his club on Bourbon Street in New Orleans.
