They aren't Zombies - they are The Infected. Think 28 Days Later. there is even what could be a subtle dig at this from the Dev's in latest build too - a graveyard is discovered and one of the responses is 'Zombies don't exist'.
More like I Am Legend because of the Alphas lol. I call them zombies out of habit
