I can't get sausages to work!!

Great video, when I stopped playing in June it took around 3 years to get food established with orchards and veggies. I downloaded the game this weekend and am going to start playing again. Does placing multiple berry farms near the deposit still allow you to harvest more berries per tick, if so this could help you out.

You can use the policy that doubles animals breeding rate since youhave no crops,also setting more hunting camps will yield meat through trapping (At least it used to). Great video!

I started a new game this morning and went down the hunting dev tree into double meat and then trading. I also started with salt. It took a while but I finally was able to start making sausages. I think opening both of the hunting trees lets you set your hunting cabins anywhere and they essentially just keep producing meat. Oh and I also set the policy to double production since the land I’m in has no farming.

Played a couple of hours this afternoon and yes food is a lot more difficult now.

I got good traction on eggs after 4 seasons and about 40 plots making eggs... until then they seem to disappear fast... but eventually i had a surplus

I was made to believe I was safe and doing well! LOL

I am currently sitting on 500+ sheep in a single region and the meat produced is not worth the point. Gonna keep going to 1000 sheep and see if that makes a difference.

It lulled you into a false sense of security with the smooth start. Good to see the how the game mechanics are used to pile on the pressure and I suspect you still have sandstorms to contend with at some point. Enjoying the playthrough.
