Was crazy that Golden Horn went off around 9/2, 5/1 on UK markets. Not many arcs run on good to firm but suited Golden Horn down to a T and of course great tactical ride by Frankie. Found won next years Arc so I’d say an above average Arc field.
Wonderful Golden Horn, the end of year handicappers did you a bit of a disservice. Your rating may have been accurate except that no one seems to have noticed that you had a long 3yo career,raced clean and were much better on fast ground! Here you beat all the best French horses in their backyard and you hold the third fastest time for the Derby since its inception in 1779 !
@@mylessherlock58 It certainly was as a lot of Arc winners don't even attempt it, he also won the Eclipse well at Sandown, he's definitely a well above Average Derby horse.
@@nightowl7459 won an irish champion stakes too, definately doesnt get the recognition he deserves and thats probably because enable came along lol. Frankie definitely loves the pair of them and so he should.

Notice Golden Horn has a keyed snaffle, a citation and a grackle, must be a difficult horse to ride, but not for the maestro Dettori. Gosden is a gent, always willing to discuss racing at the track with the public. Watch and weep for the good times.
@@somersetfan1 Regarding the Oaks, the last five renewals have been trained by either Aidan O'Brien or John Gosden, bit like the Dewhurst Stakes when for a period of time, it was Aidan O'Brien or Jim Bolger although the former has dominated the race including Churchill and US Navy Flag.
if you look at ryan moore he has found stuck on the inside and as usual at the back. The only reason found beat gh in the breeders cup was because O'Brien used Lasix which is a drug and is permitted to be used 4 hours before racing in the usa.

Found ran in the 2015 renewal and would beat Golden Horn in the States and then months later, an Arc winner as part of Aidan's clean sweep.
