- On the first day of Hari Raya we were lucky enough to attend the Prime Minister of Malaysia's open house at his Sri Perdana residence in Putrajaya.
What a wonderful experience to have met Mahathir Bin Mohamad only months after Malaysia's recent election. Not to mention trying traditional Raya food including our new favourite Rendang.

Met him a couple of times. I always got stunned when he stand next to me (he usually shops at Cold Storage KLCC). He was usually the one who started talking first whenever he sees me in the shocked stage. But i doubt he remembers me.

Did you get to see his wife as well? Our prime minister and his wife is the textbook definition of 'Relationship Goal'. They're 90+ years old and yet still so lovey-dovey with each other. ^.^
There's no pork dishes at PM open house.. Muslim dont eat pork..let alone served during Hari Raya 💆

Wearing baju kurung for a whole day under the scorching heat...braving the crowd of the open house and you get to shake hands with the Prime Minister...so many achievements for tourists!!...i wish i could give u girls medals.. :) You nailed it!

Thank you guys. We love our Prime Minister so much. For your information , Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, KLCC, KL Tower, KLIA is build under his previous government, when he took the Prime Minister Job since 1981 until 2003. He always has a brilliant idea. Now after 15 years, we Malaysian has made a decision to choose him as the Prime Minister again for second time. He officially now the oldest Prime Minister in the world. Next Month he become 93 years old and still his mind very sharp. Our intelligence leader.

Memang Tun adalah Maha Firaun dan Maha Zalim tapi Akan tetapi dlm 22 tahun Tun memerintah tidak pernah menzalimi rakyat dengan kos sara hidup yg mendadak salah satu contoh adalah 3 minggu selepas PRU 13 dimana pemotongan total subsidi, kenaikan petrol, tarif api air, kos sara hidup dan pengumuman pelaksanaan GST secara serentak dilihat seolahnya Najib berniat menghukum rakyat
Satu contoh lagi adalah selama 7 tahun Anwar di lantik sebagai menteri kewangan harga minyak tidak pernah naik langsung ada satu kali dinaikan 1sen pada 1997 waktu asian economic crisis dan diturunkan balik selepas 1 minggu kerana rintihan rakyat..dan this is just my opinion, Pakatan Harapan bukan seperti Barisan Nasional, parti parti komponen dlm BN amalkan sistem autokratik dimana suara Presiden

Only in Malaysia, the Prime Minister and the King will have open house free entry and giving free unlimited food to eat for his people or anyone on Festival day not even in England. I stayed in England for sometimes never come across any free entry or any free unlimited food for his people or anyone on Christmas day once year in "Buckingham Palace."
malaysia is unique because of its deversity of races and religion. despite of living in a multiracial country (malay, chinese, indian) we still loves our pm very much. Tun Dr Mahathir is 93 years old but he is very strong and respected in Malaysia. God Bless Him.

If you wonder why so many people from different background and races and religions because our country’s just been saved by our beloved prime minister and his team from corruption and the damage by the previous by the government who were govern for 60th years and prevent the nation from fall to bankrupt country. Can you imagine a man at age of 92yrs old who has been served the country for 22years and brings the nation from nothing to became the asian tiger economic, walk out from his comfort zone and fight for his people. Malaysians adore our PM Tun Dr Mahathir. He's 92 and recently re-elected into power about 1 1/2 month ago. We changed our govt after 60 years being under the same political party. Our PM is sort of the Nelson Mandela of Malaysia. That's why its extraordinarily special this year and we all love him. You're lucky having shaken his hands. I can only look from afar....lolz. And not to forget to mention, you looked lovely girls. Anyone up for a big brother? 😉
We could really feel the love in the room. Everyone was really hyped about meeting him and getting the chance to meet him. We were super lucky to have been in this position to have met him so close. The barrier formed just in front of us. Couldn't believe our luck

Tun Mahathir used to be the forth Malaysian Prime Minister from 1981-2003 (the longest ruling Malaysian Prime Minister) and he is the mastermind for the Petronas Towers, Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, Klia, Lrt and lots more. And now he is back as the seventh Malaysian Prime Minister at the age of 92, which is the oldest Prime Minister in the world. God bless.

You are both very lucky! I've only shook his hands twice in my life, and I can remember vividly how they felt like! 🤣🤣. He used to have a strong grip back in the day, but now age is slowly taking over, and his hands now feel very soft. We pray that he will continue to enjoy a long, prosperous life.

Beatles living legend, Sir Paul McCartney celebrated his birthday a couple days ago and he is 76 years old. But Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Mahathir is 92 years old. That make him super living legend and you're indeed super lucky to shake his hand!

I have never been to any PM's Open House and I am very impressed you girls did it and enjoyed it throughout despite all the crowds and the heat! :) Our Prime Minister, Tun Mahathir ( we now fondly called him Tun) , he is an amazing man whom still runs the country as the oldest Prime Minister in the history ever! He is 94 now and he is still as bright as ever! Again, I am glad to watch this video and very delighted about your experience in Malaysia . We welcome you back again to experience more!

By the way, being Muslims, we don't consume pork nor do we serve them at official functions. The meat could probably be lamb or mutton. Anyway, your videos are good promotional film on Malaysia and her culture, you should consider selling them to our Malaysia Tourism Board, because your videos are definitely of a high quality, content wise, and can be used as a good promotional movie on Malaysia for world view. For your information, our Prime Minister is a Muslim (Malaysian Prime Minister compulsary a Muslim person). So for muslim, our relegion prohibited us to eat pork. So there is no such thing as pork at our Prime Minister's open house... lol
Anyway, love to see both of u wearing that sweet baju kurung and always try to participate what ever Malaysian's festival and adventure. Keep it up girls.... Love ya....

Every ethnic and religious groups in Malaysia have their unique dietary restrictions. For example, Malays and Muslims don’t eat pork or drink alcohol. Indian and Buddhist don’t eat beef. Mamak (Indian Muslims) don’t eat pork and usually don’t serve beef. Hindus and Sikh usually are vegetarian.
You guys definitely upped the quality of your vlog. This video is tv worthy ; informative contents as always, as usual you two were enjoying yourselves but this time the theme of the video is really newsworthy because it's the Prime Minister's Open House, and you guys came up with a very good piece of well made video. I got to say, the shaking of hands between Mischa and the Prime Minister is the best part of this video.

Great video as always girls! 👍 Open house is definately a great place to get free food 😂 But lots of people here are triggered when Justina said the meat looks like pork, rilex guys, it is a normal thing for them to have pork served at a feast, there's nothing wrong for asking or giving opinion, as long as they do it in respecful a way. I'm pretty sure they do know that muslims don't eat pork, but since not only muslims attend the open house, perhaps there can be pork. It is just a simple logic which happens to be a mistake. Even if anyone heard them, I'm sure they'll just simply correct them and laugh it off cause these girls are not locals. So chill la, no need to condem these sweet girls 😂. Selamat hari raya everyone.
we really appreciate your comment as this is exactly how we felt whilst in attendance. all nationalities were there and we didn't think that it was too far fetched for pork to be served along with other meats. We now know that this 100% not possible. again thanks for understanding. we never ever want to offend anyone and love that you understand that we are learning new things everyday.
