Thank you so much! We have a crazy Dishmaster faucet and couldn't find anything on CZcams to help. It also had that old plastic supply line. This completely answered every question I had. I've changed out multiple faucets abs this type is a first for me. You rock! Thanks for posting!

So does the company brand name supposed to be on the front or the back? I would think it should be on the front. This would make a difference if you have a two handle faucet and you want the proper orientation of the handles.

Thanks for your question, I had a 2 wing handle faucet, the wings turn toward you, I installed it backwards because I went off the brand name. For circular handles, I think counter clockwise is the direction you want to turn, if the company is on the back with this oreintation, then for me it would on the back. People will naturally do righty tighty lefty loosy.

I did my install the same way and it's still leaking from the base whenever I turn on the water supply to check the hot & cold. The last 3 days I've been trying to figure out what's missing or did I do something wrong?

@@Jpg17288 Thanks for your question, to clarify: The faucet only leaks when its turned on? If both handles are off there is no leak?

@@Jpg17288 This is how to test:
      Remove the faucet
Connect the supply lines to the faucet in the cabinet.(since they are max 20" long)
Turn the faucet on and see where its leaking from. Use a bucket to catch the water. The other end of the supply lines are connected to the stops.
I think there is a crack after the cartridge before the spout. I had the exact same problem that baffled me only when the faucet was turned on. The thumbnail shows the area you are going to look at.
Please let me know if that solves your problem or if it doesnt.
