If it makes you feel any better, Harry & Meghan didn’t actually get set up on a blind date. They first met in May 2016 when Prince Harry was in Toronto attending an Invictus Games launch dinner catered by Meghan’s then live-in boyfriend Cory Vitiello who is also a celebrity chef. She actually admitted they first met in May 2016 in her first big interview with Vanity Fair and it was printed in the Oct 2017 issue. Later, when Meghan realized the May 2016 date was problematic because of Cory, she asked VF to change the date to July 2016 for the digital edition.

S P . It’s possible that she really didn’t know much about him. When she was a young girl, Diana was the one from the royal family that was always in the spotlight. As a young lady, Meghan was probably more focused on the “fashion icon” Diana, instead of her sons. I know I was. I can honestly say that I didn’t really know much about Harry either. Meghan was a busy young lady trying to start her career so her focus was most likely on that .
People in America haven’t had the royal family rammed down our throats like they have in the U.K.

Here they say Harry proposed one evening, when they were home alone, with MeGain cooking a chicken dinner.
(MeGain had just said in an interview a few days before, that she was vegetarian).
In their Netflix series, they say they were outside, in a field, sat on a blanket. Not at night, I take it. Which version is true?
Likewise, the story of how they met, has altered completely.
In the original interview, they said a friend introduced them, and they both had absolutely no idea who the other was, having never heard of each other. They couldn't possibly say who the friend was, of course.
Harry said he had no idea what she looked like, and realised he'd have to 'up his game' once he actually saw her.
MeGain said all she wanted to know was, 'is he kind?'
Who can forget all that drivel?
Now it seems unlikely there was 'a friend', as they said in the Netflix show, that they met online, exchanging lots of messages, and photo's before planning their first date together.
So was the whole engagement interview was a pack of lies, if we are to believe their current version?
MeGain has also let us know, in recent times, that she was good friends with Eugene for at least 2 years, before dating H.
So, are we really expected to believe that:
1) She had no idea who the Royal family was, or that Harry existed.
2) She was besties with Eugene, and still didn't know who Harry was.
All of this is further complicated when M's friend's, from when she was young, tell us that she was obsessed with the Royal family, and had pics of Prince William and the Royals, on her bedroom wall.
There are pictures of her visiting Buckingham Palace, as a young girl too.
The percentage of Americans who have visited the Palace will be relatively low, as a very high percentage never leave the USA, as it's so vast, and has so many different places, and cultures to visit, within it's own borders. Only about 37% have a passport, and certainly not all of them will have come to London.
So she must have had an interest in the Royal family, to even be seen outside Buckingham Palace, looking in.
Also, she wrote about William & Catherine's wedding, on her blog, The Tig - being very critical of Catherine, in a manner that suggested she was jealous.
It seems to me, almost all their public comments are lies, just like this one. Where the evidence stacks up a mile high, to prove that these two are so dishonest.
The offensive thing, is that they must believe the public are really dense, and just hang on every word they say, without thinking about it.
That we won't question all the lies, exaggerations, and manipulations these two, self-centred ingrates utter.
Living in their household must be like being Alice in Wonderland. Where 'facts' change every two minutes, everything is upside down, and nothing is, as it seems.
Those poor children, having to live with all that madness.

She and her friend mentioned that meghan has always been a fan of the royal family so technically she is really lying that she doesnt know who Harry is.So this story as to how they started like it was a real fairytale is really not what it seem to be

To be fair, when she was a young lady, Diana was the member of the royal family that was in the spotlight. She was known as mainly a kind, beautiful fashion icon. If I had visited Buckingham palace at that time, I would have been looking for either the queen or Diana only. Here in America, the royal family hasn’t been forced down our throats everyday.
