'Stand by Me' performed by Karen Gibson and The Kingdom Choir.
Hundreds of guests have watched Meghan and Harry exchange vows in a ceremony featuring a gospel choir and an American preacher. And the #kiss the #RoyalWedding crowds had waited for.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been declared husband and wife, following a ceremony at Windsor Castle. The couple exchanged vows and rings before the Queen and 600 guests at St George's Chapel. Wearing a dress by British designer Clare Waight Keller, Ms Markle was met by Prince Charles, who walked her down the aisle.
Following their marriage, the couple will be known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

I believe they are trying to comment on the fact that over 200 years ago people of African descent were treated with so much racism, prejudice and inequality in England that they were socially unwelcome outside and inside the chapel. Over time this social injustice has evolved and people are treated more equally. This is the first time I bet a Gospel Choir has sung in this church. This union between Harry and Meghan is a remarkable moment in British history... a British prince marrying a woman of African descent (and a biracial woman), it has never happened before. It shows the world that people are progressing and moving away from racism.
200 years? Hell, in America, we are talking 1965.
@@ineedhoez Yes you are correct... for women of color in America. But women of color are still treated better in the USA now than they are in the UK evidently. The British tore her apart because she wasn't some prim white woman that keeps her mouth shut.
